Axiomtek rolled out the eBOX511-820-FL fanless embedded box computer. The Axiomtek embedded system supports the Intel Atom processor Z530 1.6GHz and Z510 1.1GHz. It features DC power input range of 10V to 30V, DDR2 system memory (up to 2GB), Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, VGA connector, audio connector, and PS/2 port. The eBOX511-820-FL embedded system is ideal for DSA, car PC, medical healthcare, entry-level gaming, and in-flight infotainment. The RoHS compliant product will be available around in early August, 2010.
The fanless Kontron Microspace MPCX28 in-vehicle PC features the Intel Atom Z530 processor (1.6 GHz), Intel System Controller Hub US15W, and a flexible PCI/104 socket for ultra flat and space-saving PCI/104 expansion cards. Options for customization include 2 PCIe Mini Card Slots for custom specific options such as GPS, GSM/UMTS, and WLAN. The Microspace MPCX28 box PC supports Windows XPe/XP/Vista/7, and Linux. The Kontron Microspace MPCX28 in-vehicle PCis will be available (with CE and E1 certification) in Q1, 2010.
Concurrent Technologies unveiled the TR A40/30xRC ultra low power 3U VPX-REDI single board computer (SBC). The TR A40/30xRC is designed to comply with the OpenVPX VITA 65 standard. The TR A40/30xRC VPXREDI SBC supports Linux, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, QNX, and VxWorks. The OpenVPX standard defines the VPX Systems Specification, an architecture that manages and constrains module and backplane designs. The VPX Systems Specification includes the definition of pin-outs and sets interoperability points within VPX, while maintaining full compliance with the existing VPX specification.
