WinSystems announced the SBC35-C398 single board computer. The SBC is based on the Freescale i.MX 6 family of Cortex-A9 multi-core processors. The board is available with a single core, dual core, or quad core processor. The quad core SBC35-C398Q-2-0 will ship next month and is priced at $495. The dual core SBC35-C398DL-2-0 and single core SBC35-C398S-1-0 will ship in June 2013 and are priced at $395 and $295, respectively.
WinSystems introduced the PPM-C393-S single board computer. The PC/104-Plus SBC features an Intel 1.66 GHz Atom processor, ICH-8M System Controller Hub, up to 2 GB of DDR3 systems memory, Gigabit Ethernet port, simultaneous CRT and LVDS flat panel video support, eight USB 2.0 ports, four serial COM ports, SATA controller, PATA controller for the CompactFlash socket, and stereo audio. The PPM-C393-S1-0-0 is priced at $499.
WinSystems announced their PPM-PS397-POE-1 Power over Ethernet Powered Device (PoE-PD) DC/DC supply for a PC/104-Plus compatible computer board stack. The PS397 is available in two other standard configurations with custom engineered solutions also available for OEM applications. The PCM-PS397-POE-1 is a PC/104 module and the ISM-PS397-POE-1 is an Industry Standard Module (ISM) without the PC/104 and PC/104-Plus connectors populated for use with small embedded systems. The WinSystems PPM-PS397-POE-1 is priced at $199.
WinSystems launched the PXM-UIO96-2, which is a SUMIT-ISM compatible digital I/O module. The device is designed for high-speed interfacing, and features 96 lines. The PXM-UIO96-2 can monitor all 96 lines for both rising and falling digital edge transitions, latch them, and then interrupt the host processor notifying it that a change-of-input status has occurred. The WinSystems PXM-UIO96-2 is available now for $195 each (in OEM quantities).
WinSystems introduced their PXM-GIGE Gigabit Ethernet module. The PXM-GIGE is SUMIT-ISM compatible, and is designed for high-speed networking connectivity for small form factor, industrial embedded applications. The Gigabit Ethernet module supports Linux, Windows, and other x86-compatible real-time operating systems. Free drivers are available. The WinSystems PXM-GIGE board is available for $199 each.
WinSystems launched their PPC3-12 panel PC. The system features a 12.1″ open frame, single board computer (SBC), resistive touchscreen, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The PPC3-12-0-384-S2 configured with a 1.66GHz single core N455-based single board computer and 2GB of system DRAM is priced at $1149. The WinSystems PPC3-12 panel PC is ideal for medical, transportation, instrumentation, kiosks, industrial automation, security, and control applications.
WinSystems announced the ISM-TRM-RELAY and ISM-TRM-COMBO isolated digital signal conditioning and termination boards. The ISM-TRM-RELAY features sixteen independent, Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) relays. The ISM-TRM-COMBO features eight optically isolated inputs, eight optically isolated outputs, and eight Form C relays on one board. The ISM-TRM-RELAY is priced at $299 and the ISM-TRM-COMBO is priced at $255.
WinSystems introduced the PPM-GIGE-2 PC/104-Plus Dual Gigabit Ethernet Controller. The dual channel module features two Realtek RTL8110 devices. It offers self-stacking I/O expansion on PC/104, EPIC, and EBX SBCs based on the PC/104-Plus form factor. PPM-GIGE-2 is ideal for industrial embedded applications. A single channel version, PPM-GIGE-1, is also available. The two-channel PPM-GIGE-2 is priced at $199 and the single channel PPM-GIGE-1 is priced at $149.

WinSystems rolled out the PCM-SDIO module. The PCM-SDIO is PC/104-compliant and features four asynchronous serial ports and forty-eight lines of digital I/O. It is based on a FPGA with both 16C554 UART and WS16C48 digital I/O-compatible cores. The WinSystems PCM-SDIO is a replacement and is pin compatible for the company’s PCM-UIO48A and PCM-COM4A serial and parallel PC/104 compatible I/O boards. The PCM-SDIO-144 PC/104-compliant module is available now for $249 each.
