NEC uPD78F8056, uPD78F8057, uPD78F8058 All Flash Microcontrollers

NEC Electronics America announced the µPD78F8056, µPD78F8057, and µPD78F8058 microcontrollers (MCUs). The new 16-bit All Flash microcontrollers feature an embedded IEEE802.15.4-compliant 2.4-gigahertz (GHz) radio frequency (RF) transceiver for ZigBee RF4CE, which is an industrial standard for remote control for consumer electronics. The µPD78F8056, µPD78F8057, and µPD78F8058 MCUs are ideal for RF remote control and come in a 56-pin, 8 x 8-millimeter (mm) quad flat no-leads (QFN) package with flash memory sizes of 64 kilobytes (KB), 96 KB, and 128 KB.

NEC Electronics announced the µPD78F8056 (64 KB), µPD78F8057 (96 KB), and µPD78F8058 (128 KB) 16-bit All Flash microcontrollers (MCUs). The new microcontrollers feature embedded IEEE802.15.4-compliant 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) radio frequency (RF) transceiver for ZigBee RF4CE. The new microcontrollers come with 56 pins and 8x8mm quad flat no-leads (QFN) packages. The µPD78F8056, µPD78F8057, and µPD78F8058 MCUs are ideal for RF remote control and provide the lowest level of power consumption in the industry.
