The SolidLogic JT01 is available for pre-order with the Intel D945GSEJT (Johnstown) Mini-ITX mainboard and comes standard with mounting brackets, RAM, and storage. System price starts at $299 and includes USB flash module, full system assembly, and hardware testing.
Signatec introduced the DR2800 signal recording system platform. It can record data directly to a high-speed RAID system at a sustained rate of 2.8 GB/s. The Signatec DR2800 is ideal for the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Wideband Flight Recorder, and advanced Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) industries. The DR2800 combines two or more of Signatec’s PCI Express (PCIe)-based high speed analog signal digitizers. Signatec is now taking orders for DR2800 record and playback system with a shipping forecast of 6 weeks.
VIA Technologies introduced the VIA ART-3000 fanless and ruggedized embedded box system. The VIA ART-3000 embedded box PC is designed for a broad range of industrial, kiosk, POI, and signage applications. The VIA ART-3000 can withstand temperatures of -20°C – 60°C, vibrations of up to 5Gs, and is shock resistant up to 20Gs. It is based on the Em-ITX form factor and is ideal for ultra-thin embedded applications. The VIA ART-3000 is built around the VIA EITX-3000 board.
Avalue annunced the rugged EPS-AT270-2PCI box PC, which is an extension of EPS-AT270. The EPS-AT270-2PCI has two extra PCI card slots. The embedded system features Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz with 512K Cache CPU and Intel 945GSE / ICH7-M chipset. The Avalue EPS-AT270-2PCI is ideal for industrial and extreme environments. The box computer can also withstand tremors when it is being used on land transportations such as trains.
DSM Computer announced the Galaxy G1-A control cabinet computer (96M1642-A). The Galaxy G1-A is based on the energy-saving Intel Atom N270 processor with a 1.6 GHz clock frequency and the Intel 82945GSE chipset. The memory can be expanded to maximum 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 533 MHz. The Galaxy G1-A was specially developed for use in plant and machine construction in the industry automation sector. The operational areas range from simple controlling and monitoring through to the complex control of various automation processes for production plants.

A new embedded system I/O expansion standard, originated by Diamond Systems, will be launched at Embedded World 2010 in Nuremberg, Germany on March 2, 2010. The new mezzanine-style standard defines a highly compact, low cost way to add application-oriented capabilities to single-board computers (SBCs), computer-on-module (COM) baseboards, and fully-custom embedded electronics. The new I/O expansion standard enable engineers to add application-specific capabilities to SBCs and COM baseboards without adding height to the system.
