Ronetix introduced the SAMA5D3-CM SODIMM-sized System-On-Module. The SOM is based on the newest Atmel’s ARM Cortex-A5 based SAMA5D3 series processor. The SAMA5D3-CM features 512MiB DDR2, 256MiB NAND Flash, 16MiB NOR Flash, 4MiB SPI Flash, 1-Wire EEPROM DS2431 and Gigabit Ethernet PHY. The Ronetix SAMA5D3-CM modules are available now.
Datasound Laboratories announced the the ICOP VMXP-6453 SoM. The VMXP-6453 is a PC/104 processor module. It features an 800MHz Vortex86MX+ SoC processor, four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232 ports, 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, 16-bit GPIO, plus high definition audio and an on-board PWM function. The SoM also includes a heat sink that doubles as an EMC shield.
Blue Chip Technology recently introduced the RM3 single board computer. The ultra small SBC is based on the Freescale dual and quad core ARM Cortex 9 processors. The system on module supports dual high resolution independent displays (HDMI/DVI, LVDS, RGB), CAN, SATA, USB, UART, I2C and camera. Current OS support includes Linux and Android operating systems. Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Windows 8 support will be available soon. The RM3 SBC is ideal for digital signage, telematics, industrial control, instrumentation, medical devices and data logging applications.
iWave Systems Technologies recently introduced the iW-RainboW-G15M i.MX6 Q7 module. The new Qseven module features the Freescale i.MX 6 Series 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 quad/dual/single core processor, on-board eMMC flash, Micro SD slot, expandable DDR3 memory, PCIe Gen2, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA 3.0, HDMI 1.4, SDXC and MIPI CSI/DSI. The Rainbow-G15M-Q7 i.MX6 System-On-Module (SOM) and development platform will be available this month. The iWave Systems board is ideal for industrial, automotive infotainment (IVI), telematics, digital signage and medical application.
iWave Systems Technologies introduced the AM389x System-On-Module. The AM389x SOM features the TI Sitara AM389x ARM Microprocessor. The Q7 module is pin and software compatible with C6-Integra DSP+ARM Processor and DaVinci MPU. The AM389x System-On-Module is ideal for single board computers, network and communication processing, industrial automation, human machine interface and point-of-service kiosks.
Datasound Laboratories announced two new System on Modules: VDX-200RD-PCI-B and VSX-304-PI-B. The VDX-200RD-PCI-B features a 800MHz Vortex86DX CPU, 256MB RAM (512MB option), 10/100Mbps LAN, five serial ports and four USB 2.0 ports. It is DSL’s smallest SoM (48mm by 48mm). The VSX-304-PI-B features a 300MHz Vortex86SX CPU, 128MB DDR 2 onboard RAM (256MB option), integrated 10/100Mbps LAN, four serial ports and four USB 2.0 ports.
The phyCORE-AM3517 System on Module (SOM), from PHYTEC America, features the Texas Instruments Sitara ARM Cortex-A8 AM3517 microprocessor, NEON SIMD Coprocessor, Vector floating point (FP) co-processor, POWER SGX Graphics Accelerator Subsystem for 3D graphics acceleration. The Computer on Module (COM) also supports the AM3505 MPU. The PHYTEC phyCORE-AM3517 is ideal for medical, industrial control, high-performance video, imaging, and graphics intensive applications.
