Kontron introduced their COM Express Reference Carrier Type 6. The Kontron carrierboard is designed for the development of SFF applications. It supports all future-oriented interfaces required in small and portable applications. The new reference carrierboard for COM Express basic and compact Computer-and-Modules with pin-out type 6 is available now. It is ideal for OEMs developing always-connected mobile devices for digital signage, POS/POI, medical, transportation, and industrial automation.
The Lanner LEC-3000 embedded computer features the VIA Eden processor, VX800 chipset, 4 COM ports, ESD protection, cableless and fanless SFF chassis, and an extended temperature operation (-20° to 55° Celsius). Other features include VGA, 4 USB, 2 GbE LAN, a RJ45 console port, a DIO port with (4 in / 4 out), a CF socket and a PCI/104 slot for proprietary expansion purposes.
