Ronetix introduced the SAMA5D3-CM SODIMM-sized System-On-Module. The SOM is based on the newest Atmel’s ARM Cortex-A5 based SAMA5D3 series processor. The SAMA5D3-CM features 512MiB DDR2, 256MiB NAND Flash, 16MiB NOR Flash, 4MiB SPI Flash, 1-Wire EEPROM DS2431 and Gigabit Ethernet PHY. The Ronetix SAMA5D3-CM modules are available now.

Ronetix introduced their SK-PM9G45 Starter Kit. The SK-PM9G45 is based on the Atmel’s 400MHz, ARM926-based AT91SAM9G45 microcontroller (MCU). The starter kit includes a PM9G45 CPU module, baseboard and 7-inch LCD 800×480 with touchscreen and LED backlight. The Ronetix SK-PM9G45 starter kit supports Linux, WinCE and Android OS. The PM9G45 CPU module features 128MiB DDR2, 256MiB Flash and 8MiB Atmel Serial DataFlash option.

The SODIMM-sized CPU module features the Atmel’s ARM926-based AT91SAM9G45 system-on-chip (SoC), 128MB DDR2, 256MB NAND Flash, 10/100Mbps Ethernet MAC controller, USB Host and On-The-Go ports, four USART interfaces, dual high-speed multi media card interfaces. The PM9G45 have a touch screen controller and a LCD controller that supports resolutions up to 800×600 pixels. The SODIMM-sized board measures only 2.6 by 1.3 inches (67x35mm). The Ronetix PM9G45 is ideal for industrial control systems, data loggers, point-of-sale (PoS) terminals, alarm systems, medical equipment and other embedded systems.
