BCM Advanced Research announced the MX57QM Mini ITX board. The MX57QM module supports Intel Core series i7, i5 and i3 mobile processors. The BCM MX57QM features the Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset, socket 989, two dual channel DDR3 SO-DIMM sockets (up to 8 GB system memory), HDMI, DVI, 18/24-bit dual channel LVDS, standard VGA, PCIe x16, PCIe socket, Compact Flash socket (on the back), dual Gigabit LAN ports, five SATA RAID, eight USB 2.0, 16-bit GPIO and six COM ports (with one RS-232/422/485 selectable).
ADLINK Technology announced the cPCI-6510 series of 6U CompactPCI blades. The cPCI-6510 features a 32nm Intel Core i7 processor with 2.53 GHz clock speed and up to 3.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency. The blade supports dual-channel DDR3-1066 SDRAM soldered onboard memory with ECC up to a maximum of 8 GB and utilizes the Mobile Intel QM57 Platform Controller Hub. The ADLINK blade is validated for use with Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux, and VxWorks. The cPCI-6510 is now available with a list price starting at $3199.
