Kontron introduced the ARM based KTT30/mITX embedded motherboard. The KTT30/mITX includes an ARM Cortex-A9 Quad Core 900MHz processor with NEON technology. The Kontron embedded motherboard features the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, HDMI 1.4a and 24-bit LVDS video interfaces, three USB 2.0 ports, two RS232, two PCIe slots, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port and analog audio I/O’s. Rochester Electronics has developed a lead-free version of the AM188EM microprocessor. In addition to being RoHS-compliant, the Rochester AM188EM CPU offers higher performance and is more integrated than the 80C188 processor originally manufactured by AMD. Rochester Electronics is authorized to create and manufacture lead-free versions of previously discontinued products.
AMD announced the AMD Embedded G-T16R Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). The AMD G-T16R APU enables small form factor and fanless designs. It has a power consumption of only 2.3 watts on average or 4.5 watts thermal design power (TDP). The AMD Embedded G-T16R is targeted at very low power, small form factor and cost-sensitive embedded designs that require a combination of x86 compatibility and graphics. It is ideal for point-of-sale order entry stations and tablets, medical bedside terminals and solar-powered traffic control devices.

congatec introduced their conga-CCA COM Express module. The conga-CCA is a Type 2 pin-out board. The module is available in three variants: Intel Atom N2600 processor, Intel Atom N2800 processor, and Intel Atom D2700 processor. The conga-CCA features up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, Intel NM10 chipset, four PCI Express x1 lanes, two SATA 2.0, eight USB 2.0, and a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The congatec conga-CCA is available now. The ARM based embedded board features a Texas Instruments Integra C6A8168 processor and an ARM Cortex-A8 core. The digital signal processor in the ARM core takes over the computing intensive image processing in real-time and unloads the ARM processor. IEI Technology announced their UPC-V312-D525 fanless panel PC. The UPC-V312-D525 features a 12.1-inch screen, 1.8 GHz Intel Atom D525 processor, 800 MHz DDR3 memory, CAN-bus interface with isolation, redundant dual DC input, built-in SSD, and rugged metal chassis. The IEI UPC-V312-D525 panel PC also features dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi, RFID, Bluetooth and GPS antennas. The panel PC can survive the continuous shocks and jolts of a forklift.
