Kontron introduced the CPS3003-SA 3U CompactPCI Serial processor board. The CPS3003-SA CPCI-S.0 features the latest third generation Intel Core i7 processors, PCI Express Gen 3.0, USB 3.0, SATA 6G and Gigabit Ethernet over backplane. The processor board is now available as a COTS component or as an application-ready platform pre-integrated in Kontron’s CompactPCI Serial systems. It is ideal for industrial automation, test and measurement equipment, transport and traffic systems, and medical and defense technology.

Kontron introduced their CP6004-SA 6U CompactPCI processor board. The CP6004-SA is scalable up to the quad-core 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3615QE processor with 4 x 2.3 GHz (3.3 GHz in Turbo mode). It features the Intel QM77 Express Chipset, integrated HD 4000 graphics, 6MB cache, up to 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 ECC SO-DIMM memory, six SATA ports with RAID 0/1/5 functionality, six USB 2.0 ports, two RS232 ports, three independent graphics interfaces (VGA and two DVI/HDMI) High Definition Audio (HDA) interfaces, and five Gigabit Ethernet.

Kontron launched the CP3003 3U CompactPCI processor board. The Kontron CP3003 is based on the 3rd generation Intel Core processor technology. It includes the latest dual and quad-core CPU performance that is scalable up to the 2.1 GHz Intel Core i7-3612QE processor. Low voltage and ultra-low voltage processors are also available for applications requiring lower performance and heat dissipation. Full production of the Kontron 3U CompactPCI processor board CP3003 is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. It is ideal for industrial, transportation, test and measurement, medical and military applications.
