It features a third generation Intel Quad-Core series processor, DDR3L and DDR3 dual channel ram (up to 16GB), 4-port IEEE 802.3at PoE+, five display (two DP, DVI-D, VGA, LVDS), isolated DIO, two GbE LANs, CFast, two 2.5″ SATA 6Gp/s SSD/HDD trays, four COM, four USB 3.0 ports, JST connector, and four miniPCI-express. The fanless Power-over-Ethernet embedded controller is ideal for machine vision and GigE imaging, intelligent traffic system, machine vision, surveillance and security, AOI, and other embedded applications.
WinSystems announced their PPM-PS397-POE-1 Power over Ethernet Powered Device (PoE-PD) DC/DC supply for a PC/104-Plus compatible computer board stack. The PS397 is available in two other standard configurations with custom engineered solutions also available for OEM applications. The PCM-PS397-POE-1 is a PC/104 module and the ISM-PS397-POE-1 is an Industry Standard Module (ISM) without the PC/104 and PC/104-Plus connectors populated for use with small embedded systems. The WinSystems PPM-PS397-POE-1 is priced at $199.

ADLINK Technology introduced the GIE64+ quad-port GigE vision frame grabber. The GIE64+ is a PCI Express x4 lane, PoE (Power Over Ethernet) frame grabber/network interface card. It supports four independent Gigabit Ethernet ports for multiple GigE Vision device connections with data transfer rates up to 1000 Mb/s, which is found with most GigE Vision cameras. ADLINK’s GIE64+ also features IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol, multi-channel synchronization and smart PoE application programming interface.
Befact Technologies introduced their AHPD-12 Power over Ethernet (PoE) PD module. The 25.5W (12V/2.125A) board is a fully integrated and isolated PoE+ PD module. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3at-2009 power classification (type 1 and type 2), Class 0 to Class 4 signature and supports PSE Alternative A / B connections. The Befact PoE PD module features a peak output power of up to 30W (12V/2.5A), and a 92% DC/DC converting efficiency (full load condition).
ADLINK Technology introduced the GIE62+ Power over Ethernet (PoE) frame grabber. It features two independent Gigabit Ethernet ports for multiple Gigabit Ethernet Vision device connections with data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps. The two Gigabit Ethernet ports on the GIE62+ can be configured as a Link Aggregation Group (LAG), and provide a sustained maximum data rate of 2 Gbps. The GIE62+ interface card is ideal for high-speed industrial machine vision applications.
