ADLINK Technology introduced the CoreModule1-86DX2 single board computer. The PC/104 SBC two Ethernet ports, four serial ports, three USB ports, eight A/D inputs, eight GPIOs, and PS/2 connectors for keyboard and mouse. The CoreModule1-86DX2 is ideal for control applications that require power efficiency, small form factor design, longevity, and industrial grade ruggedness.
Datasound Laboratories announced the the ICOP VMXP-6453 SoM. The VMXP-6453 is a PC/104 processor module. It features an 800MHz Vortex86MX+ SoC processor, four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232 ports, 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, 16-bit GPIO, plus high definition audio and an on-board PWM function. The SoM also includes a heat sink that doubles as an EMC shield.
WinSystems introduced the PPM-C393-S single board computer. The PC/104-Plus SBC features an Intel 1.66 GHz Atom processor, ICH-8M System Controller Hub, up to 2 GB of DDR3 systems memory, Gigabit Ethernet port, simultaneous CRT and LVDS flat panel video support, eight USB 2.0 ports, four serial COM ports, SATA controller, PATA controller for the CompactFlash socket, and stereo audio. The PPM-C393-S1-0-0 is priced at $499.
WinSystems announced their PPM-PS397-POE-1 Power over Ethernet Powered Device (PoE-PD) DC/DC supply for a PC/104-Plus compatible computer board stack. The PS397 is available in two other standard configurations with custom engineered solutions also available for OEM applications. The PCM-PS397-POE-1 is a PC/104 module and the ISM-PS397-POE-1 is an Industry Standard Module (ISM) without the PC/104 and PC/104-Plus connectors populated for use with small embedded systems. The WinSystems PPM-PS397-POE-1 is priced at $199.
WinSystems introduced their PXM-GIGE Gigabit Ethernet module. The PXM-GIGE is SUMIT-ISM compatible, and is designed for high-speed networking connectivity for small form factor, industrial embedded applications. The Gigabit Ethernet module supports Linux, Windows, and other x86-compatible real-time operating systems. Free drivers are available. The WinSystems PXM-GIGE board is available for $199 each.

WinSystems rolled out the PCM-SDIO module. The PCM-SDIO is PC/104-compliant and features four asynchronous serial ports and forty-eight lines of digital I/O. It is based on a FPGA with both 16C554 UART and WS16C48 digital I/O-compatible cores. The WinSystems PCM-SDIO is a replacement and is pin compatible for the company’s PCM-UIO48A and PCM-COM4A serial and parallel PC/104 compatible I/O boards. The PCM-SDIO-144 PC/104-compliant module is available now for $249 each.
WIN Enterprises introduced their MB-73240 PC/104+ module. The WIN MB-73240 supports the Intel Atom D525, D425 and N455 processors. The board features dual GbE Ethernet ports, two serial ports, four USB ports, LVDS support, three RS-232, RS-232/422/485, CFast, SATA, and GPIO and HD audio. The RoHS compliant MB-73240 is available now. It is ideal for space-limited applications like mobile medical, interactive kiosk, human-machine interface (HMI), in-vehicle infotainment, gaming and industrial control.

The Ampro by ADLINK CoreModule 720 is based on the Intel Atom Processor E600 Series, while the Ampro by ADLINK ReadyBoard 910 supports the 2nd Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron processors. Both single board computers feature onboard Solid State Drives (SSD) and a compact form factor. The SBCs are idea for transportation, self-service, digital signage, and video surveillance applications.
