The MSC C6B-7S module family is ideal for 3D graphics, high-resolution videos, the control of large screen displays and systems requiring highest processor performance.
MSC Vertriebs introduced the Q7-A50M Qseven module. The new Computer-On-Module is based on the AMD Embedded G-Series of Accelerated Processing Units (APUs). The MSC Q7-A50M features four PCI Express x1 lanes, two high-speed SATA-II interfaces, eight USB 2.0 host ports, LPC, High-Definition Audio (HDA), one GBit Ethernet interface, and optional SATA-connected Flash Disk (up to 32GB). The MSC Q7-A50 module is ideal for a range of embedded applications — such as digital signage, industrial control, POS/POI and medical systems.
MSC Vertriebs GmbH introduced the MSC Q7-TI8168 embedded module. The Q7-TI8168 module is compliant with the Qseven standard 1.20. The ARM based embedded board features a Texas Instruments Integra C6A8168 processor and an ARM Cortex-A8 core. The digital signal processor in the ARM core takes over the computing intensive image processing in real-time and unloads the ARM processor. The MSC Q7-TI8168 is ideal for demanding image processing functions in industrial automation, medicine, transportation and security systems.
MSC Vertriebs GmbH introduced their NANORISC-S3C2416 processor module. The nanoRISC S3C2416 board features the Samsung ARM9 S3C2416 processor (clocked at 400MHz) up to 128 Mbytes of DDR2 DRAM, up to 1 Gbyte of NAND Flash, and microSD card slot for additional Flash memory. Samples of the NANORISC-S3C2416 module are available now.
MSC Vertriebs launched the nanoRISC-S5PV210 processor module for embedded applications. The new nanoRISC embedded module features a Samsung ARM Cortex-A8 controller, CAN, Ethernet, up to 1 Gbytes of DRAM, 4 Gbytes of Flash (soldered), audio, UART, I2C, SPI, Touch and GPIO. Samples of the nanoRISC-5SPV210 processor module are available now. A starter kit with a 3.5″ baseboard, a 7″ WVGA LCD and power supply will be available in a few weeks.

The CXB-6S boards feature Intel Core i7/i5 processor, Intel QM67 chipset, dual-channel DDR3 SDRAM modules (two SO-DIMM sockets), six PCI Express x1 channels, PCI Express Graphics (PEG) x16 interface, 32-bit PCI bus, eight USB 2.0 ports, HD audio, Gbit-Ethernet, VGA, LVDS, Display Port and HDMI. The MSC boards support Windows 7, Windows XP (embedded) and Linux operating systems. The first MSC CXB-6S module is equipped with a 2.1 GHz Intel Core i7-2715QE quad core processor.

The MSC Q7-NT2 features the NVIDIA Tegra 290 low-power processor, three PCI Express x 1 channels, up to four USB 2.0 hosts, USB OTG port, serial UART interface, AC 97 audio, 10/100/1000 Base-T Fast Ethernet (IEEE1588 Real Time), I2C (400Kbit/s) and SPI. The Qseven module is ideal for visualization, digital signage, multimedia, entertainment, Internet TV, and harsh industrial applications. The MSC board supports Microsoft Windows CE operating system and Linux.
MSC Vertriebs announced the Q7-TCTC-FD Qseven module. The MSC Q7-TCTC-FD features an Intel Atom E6x0 processor, up to 1GB DDR2-533 SDRAM, a CAN bus, six USB 2.0 host ports and one USB 2.0 client, three PCI Express x1 lanes, LPC, high definition audio, a GBit Ethernet interface, a 70 x 70mm form factor, and an extended temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The MSC Q7-TCTC-FD comes in four versions. The most economic model integrates a 600 MHz Intel Atom E620 CPU. Alternative modules are based on the E640 (1.0GHz) processor, the 1.3GHz E660, or the E680 CPU with 1.6GHz.
MSC Vertriebs rolled out the CXC-PV525 COM Express module. The MSC CXC-PV525 features the Intel Atom D525 processor with dual core, two fast DDR3 SDRAMs (SO-DIMM sockets) with a total capacity of up to 4 GB, and a form factor of only 95mm x 95mm. The MSC CXC-PV525 board is ideal for automotive, industrial automation, medical and measurement systems. The MSC CXC-PV525 platform runs under the Windows 7, Windows XP (embedded), Windows CE and Linux operating systems.
MSC Vertriebs introduced a family of Qseven Starter Kits with a 70 x 70mm form factor and Intel Atom processors. The starter kits include a MSC’s 3.5″ Qseven baseboard, a MSC’s Qseven module, heatspreader, heatsink, and an integrated power supply with cable connectors. Each Qseven kit features a ready-to-run Linux installation in the 4Gbyte Flash Disk integrated on the module. A TFT kit can also be ordered. The LCD kit comes with the appropriate cable kit and full implementation in the Qseven module’s Graphics BIOS.
