Kontron introduced their COMe-cCT6 COM Express compact Computer-on-Module. The Kontron COMe-cCT6 board features two 1.6 GHz or two 1.86 GHz Intel Atom processors (N2600, N2800 and D2550), Intel NM10 Express chipset, integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600/3650, up to 4 GB of on-board DDR3 800/1600 system memory, two SATA II 300MB/s interfaces, eight USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and three PCI-Express x1 lanes. Samples of the Kontron COMe-cCT6 are available now. Series production will start in June.
Kontron introduced the COMe-cOH2 COM Express compact Computer-on-Modules, which are based on the COM Express type 2 pin-out. The COMe-cOH2 modules are based on the energy efficient AMD Embedded G-Series accelerated processing units (APUs). There are two Kontron COMe-cOH2 variants: COMe-cOH2 T44R and COMe-cOH2 T56N. The COMe-cOH2 T44R features the 1.2 GHz AMD T44R single-core APU, 512 kb cache and AMD Radeon HD6250 GPU. The COMe-cOH2 T56N features the 1.65 GHz dual-core variant AMD T56N APU, AMD Radeon HD6310 graphics core and 2 x 512 kb cache. Both modules support up to 8 GByte of DDR3 RAM via two memory sockets.
Kontron introduced the COMe-mCT10 Computer-on-Module. According to Kontron, it is the world’s first COM Express mini Computer-on-Module with dual-core processing power. The Kontron COMe-mCT10 COM Express module is based on the Intel Atom processors N2600, N2800 and D2550. Samples of the new Kontron boards are available now. The COMe-mCT10 is ideal for handheld mobile embedded systems, as well as small portable, in-vehicle or stationary devices such as POS/POI, infotainment, digital signage, gaming and medical.
Kontron introduced the KM2M806XT Machine-to-Machine (M2M) deployable system. The Kontron KM2M806XT is based on the Intel Atom 600 MHZ processor. It features three USB ports, accelerometer, dual HDMI, HD audio, GB Ethernet, and 4GB internal MicroSD card. The Kontron KM2M806XT is ideal for M2M applications that must operate in extended temperatures and industrial environments.
Kontron introduced the KISS 1U Short KTQM67 industrial server. The KTQM67 is the latest addition to the Kontron Industrial Silent Server (KISS) family in 1U mini 19 rack format. It features 2nd generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors (up to 3.8 GHz), Intel QM67 Controller Hub, up to 32 GB DDR3 RAM, and integrated Intel HD Graphics. The Kontron KISS 1U Short KTQM67 is now available in EMEA. It will be available in America and APAC in the second quarter of 2012. It is ideal for demanding application areas such as industrial automation, process control, transportation and building automation.
Kontron introduced the MICROSPACE MSM-eO-N PC/104-Plus Single Board Computer. The MICROSPACE MSM-eO-N is designed for headless embedded systems. It features the 1.0 GHz AMD T24L Embedded processor, Fusion Controller Hub A55E, up to 4 GByte DDR3 RAM, two SATA interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0, four serial interfaces (RS232/TTL), and eight configurable GPIOs. The Kontron MICROSPACE MSM-eO-N PC/104-Plus SBC is available now. It is ideal for machine-to-machine, motion control, industrial automation, and distributed data collection applications.
Kontron announced the AM4140 AdvancedMC processor module. The AM4140 features a Freescale QorIQ P4040/80 4/8-core processor, Serial Rapid IO, 10 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express, and dual-channel memory (up to 8 GB ECC-RAM). It supports VxWorks 6.9, WindRiver Linux, and WindRiver Hypervisor. The Kontron AM4140 AdvancedMC processor module will be available this month. It is ideal for high-speed processing in telecommunications (such as RNCs, LTE and test equipment), military communications, and industrial and medical environments.
Kontron introduced their chassis monitoring board (CMB). The Kontron CMB centralizes out-of-band monitoring and management of installed boards and system parameters (temperature, airflow and power supply) in mission-critical COTS systems. The chassis monitoring board features an integrated microcontroller running a multi-threaded monitoring application on the Freescale MQX real-time OS. The Kontron CMB is available now as a board or as an option in Kontron’s preconfigured VME and VPX development platforms.
Kontron introduced the KISS 4U PCI760 MIL-STD rackmount server. The PCI760 features the Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9400, DDR2 dual channel RAM (up to 8 GB), 64 GB SSD, up to three 3.5″ SATA HDDs, PCIe x16, four PCIe x1 and seven PCI 32-bit. The Kontron KISS 4U PCI760 MIL-STD has been certified for the MIL-STD-810F and 461E specifications. The Kontron KISS server is available now in EMEA. It will be available in America and APAC in October. The rackmount server is ideal for military applications with high demands on performance, ruggedness and reliability.
The KISS 4U PCI761 is the latest member of the Kontron Industrial Silent Server family. The KISS 4U PCI761 features the 64-bit Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM, 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 12x USB 2.0 (2x front, 4x back, 6x pin header), 2x COM (1x RS232/422/485, 1x RS232), video (DVI-D, VGA) and audio ports (mic-in, line-in, line-out), and PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard. The Kontron KISS 4U PCI761 is available now in EMEA. It will be available in America and APAC starting this September.
