Blue Chip Technology introduced the COM-LN COM Express Board. The single board computer features the Intel Atom processor D510, Intel 82801HM I/O Controller (ICH8-M), Intel 82567V Gigabit Ethernet Controller, parallel IDE, three SATA interfaces, five PCI-Express [x1] lanes, optional six PCI-Express [x1] lanes, four 32-bit PCI, LPC, SMBus and I2C. The Blue Chip computer on module is ideal for embedded, medical, test and measurement, military, government and security applications.
WinSystems introduced the EBC-C384 single board computer. The SBC features either the Intel Atom single core 1.66GHz N455 or dual core 1.80GHz D525 processor, ICH8M I/O hub controller, up to 4GB of DDR3 MHz SODIMM system memory, two SATA channels, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, four serial COM channels, PS/2 keyboard and mouse controller, LPT port and PATA interface. The single core N455 is priced at $529, and the dual core D525 is priced at $595. The WinSystems EBC-C384 is ideal for rugged embedded applications like military, medical, factory automation, transportation, smart grid, and security.
Moxa introduced the EN 50155-certified V2416 x86 Intel Atom embedded system. The V2416 railway computer features hot swappable storage bay, dual VGA and DVI-I outputs, four RS-232/422/485 serial ports, dual LAN ports, and three USB 2.0 hosts. The Moxa V2416 embedded system is based on the Intel Atom N270 x86 processor. The V2416 includes two slots for additional storage media (such as hard disks or SSD drives). The Moxa V2416 embedded computer is ideal for network video recorder (NVR), railway and industrial applications.
IEI Technology introduced the NOVA-PV-D4251/D5251 Single Board Computer. The 5.25″ SBC features Intel Atom D425/D525 processor, quad PCIe GbE, two SATA 3Gb/s, six RS-232 serial ports, ASF 2.0 support, TPM V1.2 hardware security functions, UEFI BIOS architecture, and either a VGA and 18-bit single-channel interface (WXGA resolution up to 1366×768 or XGA 1024×768) or a 24-bit dual-channel LVDS interface (resolution up to 1920×1080). The DVI-I interface supports resolution up to 2560×1600.
IEI Technology introduced the WSB-PV-D4251 and WSB-PV-D5251 full-size Single Board Computers (SBC). Axiomtek announced the eBOX531-820-FL ultra-compact fanless embedded system. The embedded box computer features the Intel Atom processor Z530 1.6GHz or Z510 1.1GHz, Intel System Controller Hub US15W, one Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, VGA connector, audio connector, PS/2 ports, 2.5″ SATA HDD drive bay, and CompactFlash socket. The eBOX531-820-FL is ideal for DSA, car PC, medical healthcare, entry-level gaming, in-flight infotainment, and other power-sensitive embedded applications. Diamond Systems introduced the Aurora single board computer (SBC) for small form factor (SFF) embedded computing. The Aurora single board computer features the Intel 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, SODIMM RAM (up to 2GB), Gigabit Ethernet, USB Flashdisk, Serial ATA (SATA), four RS-232 serial ports (two with RS-422/485 capability), four USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and both SUMIT-A and PC/104 ISA bus expansion. IBASE Technology introduced the MI889 Mini-ITX motherboard. The MI889 module includes a PCI Express x4 that can provide higher I/O bandwidth for SATA controller cards in RAID server applications. The board features Intel Atom N450 (single core) or D510 (dual core) processor with Intel 82801HM I/O controller, up to 2GB of non-ECC system memory in a single DDR2 socket, dual display (VGA and LVDS), dual Gigabit Ethernet, four serial ports, two SATA interfaces, and eight USB 2.0 ports. The IBASE MI889 Mini-ITX motherboard will be available by the end of Q3 2010.
