The PC-based in-vehicle system features dual-core AMD G-T56N 1.6GHz processor, Radeon HD 6310 graphics engine, fast system boot (less than 5 seconds), wireless communication support (3.5G, WLAN, GPS and Bluetooth), Coreboot technology, CAN BUS 2.0B support and easy maintenance. The Portwell PCS-8277 embedded system is ideal for in-vehicle signage, in-bus and on-the-train surveillance systems, and fleet dispatch and remote management.
The fanless Kontron Microspace MPCX28 in-vehicle PC features the Intel Atom Z530 processor (1.6 GHz), Intel System Controller Hub US15W, and a flexible PCI/104 socket for ultra flat and space-saving PCI/104 expansion cards. Options for customization include 2 PCIe Mini Card Slots for custom specific options such as GPS, GSM/UMTS, and WLAN. The Microspace MPCX28 box PC supports Windows XPe/XP/Vista/7, and Linux. The Kontron Microspace MPCX28 in-vehicle PCis will be available (with CE and E1 certification) in Q1, 2010.
