Texas Instruments announced the H.E.A.T. (harsh environment acquisition terminal) evaluation module (EVM). The high-temperature data acquisition system includes a complete set of TI signal chain components qualified for extreme temperature operation from -55°C to 210°C. The H.E.A.T. EVM is test-oven ready and qualified to operate up to 200 hours at oven temperatures of up to 200°C. The board is available now for $5,749. All individual high-temperature semiconductor components in the H.E.A.T. EVM are available in both a high-temperature ceramic package, and in Known Good Die (KGD) for smallest package integration.
The TPS92010 LED-lamp Reference Board is a LED lighting driver reference board developed by Texas Instruments (TI) and Lemnis Lighting. The board can help speed adoption of energy-saving retrofit LED light bulbs. The TPS92010 LED-lamp Reference Board will be available in mid-second quarter and is priced at $49.95. It includes a user’s guide that contains the schematics, bill of materials, and test results needed to design a dimmable LED lamp.
Texas Instruments announced the availability of the WiLink 6.0 (WL1271) solution on the OMAP35x processor Evaluation Module (EVM). The TI WiLink enables engineers to incorporate wireless connectivity technology into portable embedded systems. The WL1271 solution features pre-integration and optimization that lower design barriers for applications, reduce development time, and open a new range of use cases. The WiLink 6.0 wireless solution is currrently shipping in the OMAP35x EVM.
