VIA Technologies introduced their ETX-8X90 module. The VIA ETX-8X90 board features a 1.2GHz VIA Nano X2 E-Series dual core processor, VIA VX900 media system processor (MSP), up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, 18/24-bit dual-channel LVDS, VGA port with resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, four USB 2.0 ports, two mini USB ports, two PCI, ISA bus, SATA port, IDE, two COM ports, and 10/100 Ethernet. The module is ideal for embedded applications in medical, test and measurement, industrial automation and transportation.
ADLINK Technology introduced the ETX-PVR Extreme Rugged ETX Computer-on-Module. The Ampro by ADLINK ETX-PVR board includes either the single core Intel Atom N450 processor or a dual core Intel Atom D510 processor. It features Intel’s SpeedStep and Hyper-Threading Technologies, ISA, parallel support, PCI, four USB 2.0 ports, two SATA 3 Gb/s ports, DDR2 memory (up to 2 GB), 4GB solid state drive (soldered), Gigabit Ethernet, two RS-232 ports, and an IDE (PATA) channel. Ampro by ADLINK ETX-PVR modules are available now in sample quantities.
MSC Vertriebs introduced the ETE-PV510 ETX computer-on-module. The ETE-PV510 is based on the dual core Intel Atom processor D510 with integrated graphics and memory controller. The 95 x 114 mm ETX module optionally integrates a 4GB flash disk to boot an embedded system. The MSC ETE-PV510 ETX module is ideal for industrial automation, image processing, medical, and digital signage. MSC provides different baseboards for the evaluation and the design-in of the ETX platform. Special starter kits for Windows and Linux operating systems are available.
IBASE Technology introduced the ET830 Intel Atom-based Nano ETX Computer-on-Module. The ET830 features Intel Atom Z530 processor, Mobile Intel SCH US15W Chipset, Intel single-chip system controller hub (SCH), optimized integrated graphics solution. 533MHz front-side bus, dual independent graphics for CRT/LVDS displays, and 512MB of onboard DDR2 system memory. Samples of the ET830 are available now.
WIN Enterprises introduced the MB-80200 ETX system-on-module (SOM). The MB-80200 supports the Intel Atom N450 and D510 processors (code-named Intel Pineview-M and Pineview-D, respectively). MB-80200 supports Windows 7, Windows Visa ,and Linux. MB-80200 evaluation units will be available early February 2010. The SOM is ideal for portable medical, gaming, entertainment, military, kiosk, and aerospace applications.
AXIOMTEK announced the ETM831, which is an Intel Atom ETX 3.x compliant system-on-a-module. Within a compact 4.5″ x 3.7″ (114 x 95mm) footprint, the ETM831 SoM features a high-performance, low-power 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor N270 and Intel 945GSE and ICH7M chipsets. The ETM831 supports up to 2GB of high-speed DDR2 system DRAM on a single SODIMM. The low-power module is ideal for communication, medical, factory automation, transportation, and surveillance applications. The RoHS compliant ETM831 will be available around the end of February 2010.

The PEM-E200VLA ETX embedded system board features the latest 45nm Intel Atom processor N270, Mobile Intel 945GSE Express chipset, high performance computing power, and a compact size of only 114mm x 95mm (4.49″ x 3.74″). The Portwell PEM-E200VLA is designed to support the dual VGA display interface for various multimedia devices with low power consumption. The PEM-E200VLA embedded board is ideal for applications that require fanless operation.
