Emerson Network Power introduced the ATCA-7365 and ATCA-7367 AdvancedTCA (ATCA) server blades. The ATCA-7365 and ATCA-7367 feature the Intel Xeon processor 5600 series. Both blades can be configured with a variety of software offerings, from firmware-only to fully integrated and verified software operating environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4, Wind River PNE LE 3.0 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008. They also support virtualization (under RHEL 5.4, XEN/KVM) and VMware ESX/ESXi certification is planned. The ATCA-7365 and ATCA-7367 blades are shipping now.
Emerson Network Power introduced the NPS40-M series open frame power supplies. The NPS40-M power supply supports up to 45 W with convection cooling and up to 60 W with forced air cooling. Emerson Network Power’s NPS40-M power supply series is available now. Prices at $26.00 per unit in production quantities. NPS40-M power supplies feature built-in EMI filters (CISPR 22 Class B) and meet rigorous EN55022-B and FCC part 15 Level B EMC conducted noise standards. Safety approvals include UL/ TUV/CSA/NEMKO 60950/60601-1, CE Mark EMC/LVD certification, CQC Mark and CB certification.
Emerson Network Power introduced the COMX-CORE Series COM Express modules, MATXM-CORE-411-B MicroATX motherboard, and iVME7210 6U VMEbus board. The new embedded computing platforms are powered by the Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i5 processors. The Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i5 processors use next-generation 32 nanometer manufacturing process technology, providing system integrators with significant increases in performance and energy efficiency.
Emerson Network Power introduced the COMX-ATOM-420 COM Express module and MITX-ATOM-440 Mini-ITX motherboard. The COMX-ATOM-420 and MITX-ATOM-440 embedded computing platforms are powered by the Intel N450, D410 and D510 Atom processors. Emerson’s COMX-ATOM-420 COM Express module and MITX-ATOM-440 Mini-ITX motherboard are ideal for digital signage, medical, industrial automation, and surveillance applications.
Emerson Network Power introduced ruggedized models of their MVME4100 and MVME7100 VMEbus boards. The ruggedized single board computers (SBCs) support a wider range of operating and storage temperatures in addition to increased tolerances for shock and vibration. This enables the boards to operate in harsh environments while maintaining structural and operational integrity. The new boards are also completely software compatible with the original models to ensure convenient interoperability.
