Emerson Network Power introduced the KR8-820 embedded computer. The embedded system features the second generation 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-2510E dual-core processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 80GB solid state drive, 15-pin VGA connector, two DisplayPort connectors, four USB 2.0 Type A ports, two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and TOSLINK digital optical connector. The Emerson KR8-820 embedded computer is ideal for digital signage, intelligent kiosks, medical carts and gaming machines.
Emerson Network Power launched the KR8 and MCASE series of embedded computers. The KR8 and MCASE embedded computers are based on the latest Intel processors. They are ideal for digital signage, intelligent kiosks, industrial control, traffic management, medical clinical instruments, and digital security and surveillance. The KR8-315 and MCASE-820 are the first embedded computers in the new series.
The MITX-CORE-800 series of Mini-ITX embedded motherboards, by Emerson Network Power, features support for the new second Intel Core i7-2710QE and Intel Core i5-2510E processors. The 2nd generation Intel Core processors feature the Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (Intel AVX) instructions. The MITX-CORE-800 modules are ideal for intelligent kiosks, digital signage, medical clinical equipment and gaming machines.
Emerson Network Power introduced the MVME2500 VMEbus Single Board Computer. The MVME2500 features a dual- or single-core Freescale QorIQ processor (P2020 or P2010), Power Architecture technology, up to 2 GB DDR3 soldered memory, 16 MB SPI boot flash memory, a SDHC socket, 512 KB non-volatile MRAM, SATA port, XMC site, three Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 2.0 port, abd five serial ports. The GE SBC is ideal for applications with tight thermal constraints in industrial automation, medical, and defense/aerospace.
Emerson Network Power introduced the NITX-300 series of embedded motherboards. The NITX-300 series is a Nano-ITX (120 mm by 120 mm) form factor motherboard. The NITX-300 features the Intel Atom Processor E6xx (0.6 GHz to 1.3 GHz), Intel Platform Controller Hub EG20T, up to 1 GB soldered DDR2 memory, a low-height profile, passive cooling capability, and extended temperature capability. The module supports Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Embedded 7 Standard and MeeGo Linux.
Emerson Network Power introduced the Embedded Development Kit (MATXM-CORE-411-WR). The Embedded Development Kit includes an Emerson Network Power MicroATX motherboard based on the Intel Core i7 processor with optimized trial versions of Wind River’s operating systems, development tools, embedded hypervisor and graphics software. Included in the Embedded Development Kit is a LiveUSB flash drive containing a host image and a configurable target image. Each kit also includes cables, a comprehensive startup guide, sample projects and tutorial videos.
The COMX-430 and COMX-440 COM Express modules, from Emerson Network Power, are small form factor single board computers. The COMX-430 and COMX-440 SBCs feature the Intel Atom D410/D510 processors at 1.66 GHz coupled with up to 4GB DDR2 memory. The boards are ideal for industrial control, kiosks, clinical display systems, panel PCs, and diagnostic and test equipment. The COMX-430 and COMX-440 support Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 and Fedora 12 Linux operating systems.
Emerson Network Power introduced the ATCA-F140 40G AdvancedTCA (ATCA) switch blade. The ATCA-F140 40G switch blade features high bandwidth, high performance, and flexibility. The ATCA-F140 offers 1G, 10G and 40G fabric switching interfaces for backwards compatibility with existing payload blades, while enabling the maximum ATCA fabric bandwidth to meet the needs of the most data-intensive applications, including 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks. The ATCA-F140 switch blade will also be available integrated within the latest release of Emerson Network Power’s 40G-ready platform core, the Centellis 4440, R2.0.
Emerson Network Power announced the COMX-P2020 and COMX-P4080 modular single board computers (SBCs). The COMX-P2020 and COMX-P4080 COM Express modules feature Freescale QorIQ P2020 and P4080 multicore processors. The COMX-P2020 and COMX-P4080 boards support a range of embedded operating systems including RTOS from Green Hills Software, Lynuxworks, Mentor Graphics, QNX, and Wind River.
Emerson Network Power announced the CPCI7203 embedded single board computer. The Emerson Network Power CPCI7203 CompactPCI blade is based on Intel Core i7 processor. The module supports the new CompactPCI PlusIO specification (PICMG 2.30), which supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. The CPCI7203 PICMG 2.30 3U processor board is ideal for industrial, medical and military/aerospace applications, such as railway control, semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, image processing, vehicle communications and on-board flight information systems.
