Lanner Electronics introduced the LEC-7950 and LEC-2280 industrial computers. The LEC-7950 includes either the 2nd Gen Intel Core i3-2310E or Celeron 847E. The LEC-2280 features a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processor. The new embedded systems are compatible with Microsoft operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Linux.
Acromag introduced the APCe8675 carrier card. The APCe8675 enables a PC to communicate with an XMC mezzanine module over a PCI Express (PCIe) bus. The Acromag carrier card is a simple and cost-effective solution for test advanced systems for defense and aerospace applications that will be deployed later on rugged embedded computer platforms such as VME, VPX, or CompactPCI. Pricing for the standard APCe8675 model starts at $700.
Lanner Electronics introduced the LVC-5570D4-CA and the LVC-5770-7A embedded systems for vehicles. The LVC-5770-7A features eight PoE LAN ports, and functions as a highly capable Mobile NVR in conjunction with remotely-powered IP cameras. The LVC-5570D4-CA features four mini-PCIe slots and two removable storage bays. It is more suited to analog video use, functioning as a Mobile DVR, and offers excellent extensibility. The in-vehicle computers are ideal for surveillance (both digital and analog), digital signage and video capture, vehicle location, and driver behavior monitoring.
HABEY USA introduced the BIS-6636 embedded system. The fanless embedded PC supports the latest Intel Atom N2800 and D2550 processors. The HABEY BIS-6636 embedded box features integrated PowerVR GPU, six USB ports, up to six COM ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. It supports Windows 7 Embedded, Windows 7, and Embedded Linux OS like Timesys Fedora. The system is ideal for digital signage, building automation, NVR, point-of-sales, and other embedded and industrial applications.
Blue Chip Technology introduced their new Alpha line of integrated touchscreen computers. The new Alpha range offers screen sizes of 4.3″ (480×272), 5.7″ (640×480), 7.1″ (800×480) and 8″ (800×600). Larger screen sizes will be available in the near future. They feature integrated touch screens and a machined aluminum front panel. The Alpha touchscreen computers are ideal for embedded systems.
ITTIA rolled out version 5.5 of the ITTIA DB SQL database for embedded systems and mobile platforms. ITTIA DB SQL provides a flexible interface to organize, share, and protect data. ITTIA DB SQL can be loaded as a shared library or plugin. As a result, a separate database installation step is not necessary. ITTIA DB SQL 5.5 is available for Windows, Linux, Android, ThreadX, QNX, and VxWorks. Evaluation copies are available now.
DSM Computer introduced the NanoServer N2-QM67. The embedded system features the Intel QM67 energy-saving mobile chipset, up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, two fast USB 3.0 ports, eight USB 2.0 (4 x external, 4 x internal), four serial ports (3 x RS232, 1 x RS232/422/485), Serial ATA for two SATA II 600 and four SATA II 300 devices (RAID 0, 1, 0+1,5). The two 1000 Base-T LAN interfaces can be augmented with Wireless LAN 802.11 on request.
NORCO announced the Automatic Fare Collection System (AFC) family. The AFC series include the AFC-6571, AFC-6572, AFC-6573, and AFC-6574 embedded systems. The industrial computers consist of a central computer, code/sorting machine, station computer, AFC field apparatus (in/out gate, bidirectional gate, ticket vendor, office ticketing machine and automatic ticket checker), tickets and communication network. They are ideal in gates or turnstiles, automatic and semi-automatic ticket vendors.
