Artila Electronics introduced their PAC-4000 industrial ARM9 embedded computer. The PAC-4000 features the 400MHz AT91SAM9G20 ARM Thumb Processor, two Ethernet ports, up to four RS-232 ports and two isolated RS-485 ports, two USB host ports, microSD socket, 64MB SDRAM, 128MB NAND Flash, and 2MB DATAFlash. It is pre-installed with Linux 2.6.29 OS, busybox utility collection, lighttpd web server, and various hardware device drivers. The PAC-4000 is ideal for direct digital control, building automation, energy-saving system, and remote device management.
Emerson Network Power launched the KR8 and MCASE series of embedded computers. The KR8 and MCASE embedded computers are based on the latest Intel processors. They are ideal for digital signage, intelligent kiosks, industrial control, traffic management, medical clinical instruments, and digital security and surveillance. The KR8-315 and MCASE-820 are the first embedded computers in the new series.
ADLINK Technology introduced their Matrix MXC-6000 embedded computers. The Matrix MXC-6000 features the Intel Core i7-620LE 2.0 GHz processor, Intel QM57 chipset, VGA/DVI dual display support, 16 isolated DI/DO channels, dual GbE ports, two software-programmable RS-232/422/485 ports (COM1 and COM2), two RS-232 ports (COM3 and COM4), four external USB 2.0 ports and an internal USB 2.0 port. Prices start at $1,953 for the Matrix MXC-6000 series of fanless embedded expandable computers.
Moxa introduced the EN 50155-certified V2416 x86 Intel Atom embedded system. The V2416 railway computer features hot swappable storage bay, dual VGA and DVI-I outputs, four RS-232/422/485 serial ports, dual LAN ports, and three USB 2.0 hosts. The Moxa V2416 embedded system is based on the Intel Atom N270 x86 processor. The V2416 includes two slots for additional storage media (such as hard disks or SSD drives). The Moxa V2416 embedded computer is ideal for network video recorder (NVR), railway and industrial applications.
ADLINK Technology rolled out the MXE-1200 embedded computer. The ADLINK Matrix MXE-1200 features twelve COM ports, a mini-PCIe socket, a USIM socket, and a pre-installed SMA-to-IPEX antenna cable. Two of the COM ports can be configured to RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 via a BIOS setting. Another two are RS-232 COM ports (COM3 and COM4). The remaining eight COM ports are either RS-232 (MXE-1212/232), RS-422 (MXE-1212/422) or RS-485 (MXE-1212/485). The MXE-1200 embedded system is available now for $828.
