Datasound Laboratories announced the SOM304 development system. The ICOP System-on-Module features an X86 processor, DDR2 memory, BIOS, and an on-board flash disk pre-loaded with FreeDos. The Vortex86 system on module includes everything engineers need to get their proof-of concept design started.

The Datasound AHM-6xx6 supports Windows CE 6.0, XP Pro, XP Embedded, Windows 7 and Windows Embedded Standard 7.
Datasound Laboratories announced two new System on Modules: VDX-200RD-PCI-B and VSX-304-PI-B. The VDX-200RD-PCI-B features a 800MHz Vortex86DX CPU, 256MB RAM (512MB option), 10/100Mbps LAN, five serial ports and four USB 2.0 ports. It is DSL’s smallest SoM (48mm by 48mm). The VSX-304-PI-B features a 300MHz Vortex86SX CPU, 128MB DDR 2 onboard RAM (256MB option), integrated 10/100Mbps LAN, four serial ports and four USB 2.0 ports.
Datasound Laboratories launched the DSL ICOP-6326 family of low-power x86 embedded controllers. The ICOP-6326 features 800MHz Vortex86DX CPUs, up to 512MB DDR2 RAM, triple 10/100Mbps LAN, four serial ports, three USB ports, a 16-bit GPIO, CompactFlash socket, LCD / LVDS interfaces, and redundancy capabilities. The embedded controller is ideal for data-acquisition, industrial automation, process control, intelligent vehicle management and robotics.
Datasound Laboratories introduced their Matrix-522 Linux-ready ARM9-powered, embedded industrial computer. The Matrix-522 features dual CAN (Control Area Network) bus 2.0 ports, two LANs, two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, two USB hosts and 21 GPIOs. The pre-installed Linux 2.6.29 OS includes SocketCAN, the open source CAN driver and network stack to enable multiple applications access to a single CAN device simultaneously. The DSL Matrix-522 embedded system is ideal for automotive, factory automation and industrial control system applications.
