Kontron introduced the KTQ87/mITX embedded Mini-ITX motherboard. The KTQ87/mITX features the fourth generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors and the Intel Embedded Q87 chipset. The new Kontron embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KTQ87/mITX is available now in EFT quantities. Series production is scheduled to start in Q3 2013. The board is ideal for industrial automation, medical, gaming and digital signage.

congatec introduced their conga-BM67 COM Express module. The conga-BM67 supports the second generation Intel Core processors — such as the quad-core Intel Core i7-2710QE processor (2.1 GHz, 45W, PGA) and the dual-core Intel Core i5-2510E processor (2.5 GHz, 35W, PGA). The conga-BM67 board features the Intel QM67 Express chipset, 1.3 GHz dual channel DDR3 memory (up to 8 GByte). Samples of the congatec module will be available later this month. The conga-BM67 is ideal for intense graphics applications like gaming, medical, automation or digital signage applications.
