Concurrent VX 81x/09x and TR 80x/39x Single Board Computers

Concurrent Technologies introduced the VX 81x/09x and TR 80x/39x single board computers. The new SBCs support the quad-core Intel Core i7-2715QE processor and the dual-core Intel Core i5-2515E processor. The VX 81x/09x features up to 16Gbyte of ECC DDR3 SDRAM, configurable PCI Express fabric interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet, dual SATA600, dual PMC / XMC slots, dual serial RS232/422/485 ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports, dual independent display ports, on-board Compact Flash and optional 2.5 inch hard drive. The TR 80x/39x features up to 8Gbyte of ECC DDR3 SDRAM, configurable PCI Express fabric interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet or dual 1000Base-BX channels, dual SATA600, single XMC slot, serial RS232/422/485 port, dual USB 2.0 ports, independent VGA and display port all in a 3U VPX form factor.

Concurrent Technologies introduced the VR 737/08x 6U OpenVPX Single Board Computer. The VR 737/08x features the Intel Core i7 32nm embedded processor, Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset, soldered DDR3 ECC SDRAM (up to 8Gbytes), 3x Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual 1000Base-BX channels, 4x PCI Express x8 lanes (support Gen 1 and Gen 2 data rates), dual SATA300 disk interfaces, DVI-D and DVI-I graphics interfaces, 6x serial UART ports, 5x USB 2.0, and 8x GPIO. The module supports Linux, Windows, Solaris, VxWorks and QNX. The VR 737/08x board is available in VPX-REDI variants (type 1 and type 2).

Concurrent Technologies introduced the PP 68x/m71 family of 6U CompactPCI boards. The PP 68x/m71 embedded systems boards feature the 2.00 GHz Six-Core Intel Xeon processor L5638 (or the 1.87 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor L5618), up to 48 Gbytes of DDR3-1066 ECC SDRAM, two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and SAS and SATA300 disk interfaces. The boards feature up to 8 Gbytes of DDR3-1066 ECC SDRAM, dual PMC/XMC sites, and VITA 31.1 support. Concurrent SY VPX/3×3 Preconfigured OpenVPX Development Systems

Concurrent Technologies introduced the SY VPX/3×3 low-cost, off the shelf, 3U OpenVPX Development Systems. The SY VPX/3×3 consists of the SY VPX/303 and SY VPX/313. Each Development System is a free-standing 3U VPX chassis with a backplane supporting a controller slot and two peripheral slots. The SY VPX/3×3 systems come preconfigured with either an Intel Atom or an Intel Core 2 Duo processor board, each with a x4 PCI Express fabric to the two peripheral slots. Both systems include a 3U VPX Mass Storage module, which leaves the third VPX slot available for an additional board.

Concurrent Technologies introduced the AM 210/x0x Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC). The AM 210/x0x is a single width, mid-height or full-height, processor module for AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, Scope Alliance and proprietary platforms. Commercial temperature (0°C to +55°C) and extended temperature (-25°C to +70°C) variants are now available with either the mid-height or full-height front panel type. The AM 210/x0x module supports Linux, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, VxWorks, and QNX.

Concurrent Technologies announced the PP 712/08x family of 6U CompactPCI boards. The boards support supported the 2.53GHz Intel Core i7-610E, 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-620LE, and the 1.06GHz Intel Core i7-620UE. The PP 712/08x can support extended temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The modules are ideal for CPU intensive processing applications within the telecommunications, defense, and homeland security market sectors. The PP 712/08x boards support Linux, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP, Solaris, VxWorks, and QNX.

Concurrent TR A40/30x­RC Single Board Computer

Concurrent Technologies unveiled the TR A40/30x­RC ultra low power 3U VPX-REDI single board computer (SBC). The TR A40/30x­RC is designed to comply with the OpenVPX VITA 65 standard. The TR A40/30x­RC VPX­REDI SBC supports Linux, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, QNX, and VxWorks. The OpenVPX standard defines the VPX Systems Specification, an architecture that manages and constrains module and backplane designs. The VPX Systems Specification includes the definition of pin-outs and sets interoperability points within VPX, while maintaining full compliance with the existing VPX specification.

Concurrent Technologies XP A40/x03 Processor PMC/XMC Module

Concurrent Technologies launched the XP A40/x03 ultra low power processor PMC/XMC module. The XP A40/x03 board features the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor Z530 and the integrated Intel System Controller Hub US15W. Other features include up to 2 Gbytes DDR2-533 SDRAM, 4 Gbytes of NAND Flash, graphics, CANbus controller, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. The XP A40/x03 module has a typical power consumption of less than 10 Watts and is available in commercial and extended temperature variants, with a rugged conduction cooled board being released in the near future. The board can be used on either a PMC/XMC carrier board, or on a host CPU board where it can be used to off-load some of the host CPU’s functions. The XP A40/x03 is ideal for defense, security, aerospace, and telecommunication applications.
