IBASE Technology introduced the I-VC5 multifunctional in-vehicle computing system. The fanless I-VC5 embedded system is based on the Intel Atom processor N450 platform. It is designed to handle shock and vibration in mobile conditions inside vehicles and can withstand harsh environments and operate in temperature ranging from 0°C to 60°C. The I-VC5 is ideal for use in police patrol cars, fire engines, cabs, couriers, cabinet trucks and buses where mobile data terminals are installed.
Axiomtek announced the rBOX100 DIN-rail fanless embedded system. The rBOX100 features Intel Atom Z510PT and Z520PT processors support, extended temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, AXView monitoring software, two COM ports, two LANs (1 x 10/100/1000mbps and 1 x 10/100Mbps), two USB 2.0 ports, one DIO port (8 IN/OUT), one VGA output, and one CompactFlash socket. The compact rBOX100 with AXView package will be available by early November 2010. The Axiomtek rBOX100 embedded system is pre-installed with Linux, Windows CE 6.0 or Windows XP Embedded. The ready-to-run rBOX100 computing system is ideal for power plant automation, facility monitoring systems, and intelligent transportation systems.
