Acrosser introduced the AIV-HM76V0FL embedded system for vehicles. The in-vehicle computer features the Intel HM76 mobile chipset, FCPGA 988 socket, four USB 3.0, CAN bus, Wi-Fi, 3.5G wireless WAN, Bluetooth and GPS. It supports the Intel third generation Core i7/i5 and Celeron processors up to 45W i7-3820QM. The Acrosser AIV-HM76V0FL in-vehicle computer will be available this month.
Gumstix introduced the Waysmall Silverlode embedded system. The Waysmall Silverlode is a low-wattage computer, and reduces power consumption by over half (compared to alternative solutions). It is compact and measures 11.0cm x 4.4cm (1.8cm in height). The Waysmall Silverlode computer retails for $199. The system is ideal for commercial and industrial vertical market applications.
NORCO announced the Automatic Fare Collection System (AFC) family. The AFC series include the AFC-6571, AFC-6572, AFC-6573, and AFC-6574 embedded systems. The industrial computers consist of a central computer, code/sorting machine, station computer, AFC field apparatus (in/out gate, bidirectional gate, ticket vendor, office ticketing machine and automatic ticket checker), tickets and communication network. They are ideal in gates or turnstiles, automatic and semi-automatic ticket vendors.
Lanner Electronics announced the LEC-5510 in-vehicle computer. The LEC-5510 embedded system features 1.66GHz dual core Intel Atom D510 processor, ICH8M chipset, Intel Ethernet (2 x Intel 82574L) controllers, Intel graphic controllers (GMA3150), 1GB onboard RAM , SODIMM slot for additional DDR2 memory (up to 2GB additional), 4 x USB 2.0, 2 x serial, audio, VGA and digital I/O. The Lanner LEC-5510 is ideal for construction equipment, semis, cabs, vans, trains and buses.
CompuLab introduced their Trim-Slice embedded computer. The CompuLab miniature computer is based on NVIDIA Tegra 2. The dual-core ARM Cortex A9 computer runs Linux and is supported in the mainline kernel revision 2.6.39. Support for other operating systems is work-in-progress. Trim-Slice is offered in three configurations. Trim-Slice Barebone is priced at $199, Trim-Slice Value is priced at $219, and Trim-Slice Pro is priced at $319. OEMs and system integrators can order Trim-Slice in volume with customization of feature set, branding and case finish.
DSM Computer introduced the 19″ Infinity 96M1574 embedded system. The industrial computer is based on the DSM 96M4296o industrial slot CPU with a Intel Core 2 processor. It features four 5.25-inch drive bays, a 3.5-inch bay, optional RAID SATA removable frame, and 14 slots for eight long and six short plug-in cards. Available interfaces include two 2 x GigaBit LAN outputs, eight USB 2.0 ports, GPIO, serial and parallel interfaces, HD audio and IDE. VGA is provided as graphic interface with optional DVI.
