Kontron announced their COMe-cTH6 COM Express Computer-on-Module. The COMe-cTH6 features the AMD Embedded R-Series accelerated processing unit (APU), AMD A70M Fusion Controller Hub, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, seven PCI Express x1 lanes, PEG x8 interface, four SATA 3 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and four USB 2.0 ports. The Kontron COM Express compact Computer-on-Modules COMe-cTH6 supports Windows, Linux, and VxWorks.
GreenBase Technology launched the GK-5432 module. It is the industry’s first ARM Cortex-A15 based computer on module. The GK-5432 is based on the industry new ULP-COM standard for ARM and SoCs. The GK-5432 features the Texas Instruments’ OMAP5432 dual-core ARM Cortex-A15 processor. The module is backed by TI’s longevity program for embedded applications.

The ETX-OH T16R features the new AMD Embedded G-Series APU T16R, up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, Fast Ethernet, USB 2.0, optional micro-USB port on-board and HD Audio. The board supports Windows 7 (32- and 64 bit), Windows XP, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Linux and VxWorks. The ETX 3.0-compliant Kontron ETX-OH T16R is available now. It is ideal for automation, infotainment, kiosk and medical applications.
ADLINK Technology introduced the ETX-CV Computer on Module. The ETX module is based on the latest dual-core 32nm process Intel Atom Processor and NM10 Express Chipset. The ADLINK ETX-CV features up to 4 GB of DDR3 memory on a single SODIMM, Intel-based 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port, dual channel IDE, two channels SATA, four USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, parallel port shared with floppy, PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface, and HD audio. It is ideal for replacing current entry-level and older high-performance ETX modules (up to Intel Core Duo Processor L2400).
VIA Technologies introduced their COMe-8X91 COM Express Module. The VIA COMe-8X91 COM features the 800MHz VIA Eden X2 dual core processor, VIA VX900 media system processor (MSP), 1GB of onboard DDR3, type 10 pin-outs, two SATA II ports, GigaLAN port, eight USB 2.0 ports shared (one USB client port), HD audio digital interface and two serial ports. The VIA COMe-8X91 module is ideal for medical, advanced gaming, test and measurement, industrial (machine vision system) and military applications.

Samples of the Kontron COMe-cCT6 are available now. Series production will start in June.

VIA Technologies introduced their COMe-8X90 module. The VIA COMe-8X90 board features a 1.2GHz VIA Nano X2 E-Series dual core processor, VIA VX900H media system processor (MSP), two SATA II ports, GigaLAN port, two memory slots (up to 8GB of SODIMM DDR3 RAM), USB client port, four USB 2.0 ports, SDIO, expansion buses (PCIe X4 and PCIe x1), and the VIA Labs VL800 USB 3.0 host controller. The COMe-8X90 Computer-on-Module is ideal for medical, advanced gaming, industrial automation and digital signage applications.
GreenBase Technology Corp. (GBT) introduced the GQ-3874 and GQ-8148 Qseven modules. The GQ-3874/8148 features a PCI-e slot, SATA, four USB, four UART, dual CAN bus, ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor, and SGX530 3D graphics engine. The GreenBase Qseven modules are based on the Texas Instruments Sitara AM3874 and Davinci DM8148 SoC. The GQ-8148 board also includes a TI 750MHz Integra C674 digital signal processor (DSP). The GQ-3874/8148 Qseven modules are ideal for image processing intensive applications — such as industrial automation, machine image, medical/health care, transportation, digital signage, digital video recording and security.
MSC Vertriebs introduced the Q7-A50M Qseven module. The new Computer-On-Module is based on the AMD Embedded G-Series of Accelerated Processing Units (APUs). The MSC Q7-A50M features four PCI Express x1 lanes, two high-speed SATA-II interfaces, eight USB 2.0 host ports, LPC, High-Definition Audio (HDA), one GBit Ethernet interface, and optional SATA-connected Flash Disk (up to 32GB). The MSC Q7-A50 module is ideal for a range of embedded applications — such as digital signage, industrial control, POS/POI and medical systems.
