Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) introduced the XCalibur1700 6U CompactPCI SBC, the XCalibur1730 VME SBC, and the XCalibur1740 6U VPX SBC. The new single board computers are based on the Freescale QorIQ P2020 processor. X-ES offers all P2020-based products in both air-cooled, commercial (0 to 55 °C) to rugged, conduction-cooled (-40 to +85 °C) versions with appropriate shock and vibration testing. They are ideal for commercial, industrial, and military applications.
GE Intelligent Platforms introduced the CRS-C2I-3CC1 and CRS-C3I-3CB1 embedded systems. The CRS-C2I-3CC1 and CRS-C3I-3CB1 feature a single board computer with Intel Core processors, 1 Gbyte of RAM, 4 GBytes of Flash memory, Ethernet, serial, USB, CANbus, MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429. The CompactPCI computers include Linux, Windows or the VxWorks real-time operating system. The GE CRS-C2I-3CC1 (2-slot) and CRS-C3I-3CB1 (3-slot) are ideal for unmanned vehicles, launch vehicles, and commercial helicopters and aircrafts.
GE Intelligent Platforms introduced the XCR14 6U CompactPCI and XVR14 6U VME single board computers. The new SBCs are based on 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge processors. The XCR14 and XVR14 features four Gigabit Ethernet ports, five USB 2.0 ports, two DVI ports, VGA, audio, two COM ports, and two on-board mezzanine expansion sites (both PCI-X PMC/PCI Express XMC). The rugged single board computers are available in five build levels, including air- and conduction cooled.

ADLINK Technology announced the cPCI-6510 series of 6U CompactPCI blades. The cPCI-6510 features a 32nm Intel Core i7 processor with 2.53 GHz clock speed and up to 3.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency. The blade supports dual-channel DDR3-1066 SDRAM soldered onboard memory with ECC up to a maximum of 8 GB and utilizes the Mobile Intel QM57 Platform Controller Hub. The ADLINK blade is validated for use with Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux, and VxWorks. The cPCI-6510 is now available with a list price starting at $3199.
