GE Intelligent Platforms introduced the PCIE-5565PIORC low profile PCI Express reflective memory node card. A reflective memory network is a type of shared memory system that enables multiple, separate computers to share a common set of data. Reflective memory autonomously replicates the contents of one processor’s memory to the memory nodes of all other network members. The PCIE-5565PIORC board is ideal for real-time applications like simulation and training, industrial process control and data streaming and acquisition.
VIA Technologies introduced the VIA eH1, a DX10.1 compliant, multi-display graphics card for embedded systems. The VIA eH1 can be used in conjunction with VIA EPIA board products and supports systems that with a x1, x4, x8 or x16 PCIe slot. Samples of the VIA eH1 are available now. The low profile VIA eH1 PCI Express add-in-board is ideal for digital signage, advertising, POS, POI, gaming, and embedded application where sophisticated graphics and HD video is streamed on two displays.
Avalue introduced the ECM-945GSE+ (Plus) modularized single board computer. The ECM-945GSE+ SBC features the Intel Atom N270 processor, DDRII memory with maximum memory capacity of 1G, 36-bit LVDS LCD and CRT+LVDS dual-screen display output, two Mini PCIe and SATA interfaces, gigabit ultra-speed Ethernet, and six sets of USB 2.0 connectivity interfaces.

The FeaturePak I/O module standard provides a compact and low-cost method of adding I/O to board-level embedded computers. FeaturePaks can be used as snap-in customization modules for commercial, off-the-shelf single-board computers (SBCs) and computer-on-module (COM) baseboards, or as functional blocks on fully-custom embedded electronics. FeaturePak modules interface to the host system via a single low-cost, high-density, 230-pin connector, which carries PCI Express, USB, I2C, and several other host-interface signals, plus up to 100 points of application I/O per module. The host interface is CPU agnostic and is compatible with both Intel- and RISC-architecture systems. IEI Technology introduced the PICOe-D510 half-size CPU card (1.66 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor D510), the PM-PV-D510 PC/104 CPU Board (1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor D510), and the IBX-300 embedded system (Intel Atom processor D510). The compact SBCs and embedded system are ideal for use in digital signage, transportation infotainment, multimedia devices, kiosks, surveillance, and point-of-sales applications.
IEI Technology introduced the PICOe-D510 half-size CPU card. The PICOe-PV-D510 features the 1.66 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor D510, 1 MB L2 cache, and 512 MB of on-board memory. The IEI PICOe-PV-D510 will be available at the end of this month. It is ideal for digital signage, transportation networking, multimedia devices, and printing machine applications.
Concurrent Technologies introduced the AM 210/x0x Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC). The AM 210/x0x is a single width, mid-height or full-height, processor module for AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, Scope Alliance and proprietary platforms. Commercial temperature (0°C to +55°C) and extended temperature (-25°C to +70°C) variants are now available with either the mid-height or full-height front panel type. The AM 210/x0x module supports Linux, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, VxWorks, and QNX.
Concurrent Technologies announced the PP 712/08x family of 6U CompactPCI boards. The boards support supported the 2.53GHz Intel Core i7-610E, 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-620LE, and the 1.06GHz Intel Core i7-620UE. The PP 712/08x can support extended temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The modules are ideal for CPU intensive processing applications within the telecommunications, defense, and homeland security market sectors. The PP 712/08x boards support Linux, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP, Solaris, VxWorks, and QNX.
Interface Masters Technologies introduced the Niagara 32714 quad port fiber 10 gigabit Ethernet (GE) server adapter card. The Niagara 32714 server adapter is a low power Quad Port 10 GbE NIC, with SFP+ pluggable modules for Multi-Mode and Single-Mode Fiber media, based on the Intel 82599 Ethernet controller. The Niagara 32714 will be available for free evaluation on December 2009 for qualified projects and will be in full production January of 2010. The Niagara 32714 is ideal for system integrators and server providers that support the telecommunications, ISP, IT network security, UTM, intrusion detection and prevention, storage area networks (SAN), and WAN acceleration markets.
