WIN Enterprises introduced the WIN SoNIC network acceleration board. WIN SoNIC is an instantiation of the Intel platform for communications infrastructure, formerly codenamed “Crystal Forest.” The WIN MB-62030 board features a 2/4 core Intel 32nm Xeon BGA Processor (codename Gladden), next generation PCH (codename Cave Creek) with integrated Intel QuickAssist Technology, and dual 10GbE on a single half-length PCIe Card.
American Portwell Technology introduced the RUBY-D714VG2AR embedded system board. The RUBY-D714VG2AR is based on Intel’s mobile QM77 PCH and supports the latest third generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 (Ivy Bridge) processor. The Portwell board is a green solution with a thermal design power (TDP) of 77W. Kontron announced their ETX-OH T16R Computer-on-Module. The ETX-OH T16R features the new AMD Embedded G-Series APU T16R, up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, Fast Ethernet, USB 2.0, optional micro-USB port on-board and HD Audio. The board supports Windows 7 (32- and 64 bit), Windows XP, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Linux and VxWorks. The ETX 3.0-compliant Kontron ETX-OH T16R is available now. It is ideal for automation, infotainment, kiosk and medical applications.

WinSystems introduced their PXM-GIGE Gigabit Ethernet module. The PXM-GIGE is SUMIT-ISM compatible, and is designed for high-speed networking connectivity for small form factor, industrial embedded applications. The Gigabit Ethernet module supports Linux, Windows, and other x86-compatible real-time operating systems. Free drivers are available. The WinSystems PXM-GIGE board is available for $199 each.
