The ADLINK cPCI-6930 features a 1.8 GHz eight-core Intel Xeon processor E5-2448L, Intel C604 chipset, and three independent channels of DDR3-1333 RDIMM memory (up to 48GB DDR3 ECC registered memory). The next-generation 6U dual-slot cPCI board is ideal for server-grade applications and mission critical applications.
ADLINK Technology launched the cPCI-3970 Series of 3U CompactPCI PlusIO processor blades. The cPCI-3970 features quad and dual core 2nd Generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor, Intel QM67 Platform Controller Hub, up to two DisplayPort/DVI/HDMI, four serial ports, four SATA ports, five USB 2.0 ports, four GbE ports, PS/2 KB/MS, audio ports, and a PMC/XMC site for expansion. ADLINK Technology announced the cPCI-6510 series of 6U CompactPCI blades. The cPCI-6510 features a 32nm Intel Core i7 processor with 2.53 GHz clock speed and up to 3.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency. The blade supports dual-channel DDR3-1066 SDRAM soldered onboard memory with ECC up to a maximum of 8 GB and utilizes the Mobile Intel QM57 Platform Controller Hub. The ADLINK blade is validated for use with Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux, and VxWorks. The cPCI-6510 is now available with a list price starting at $3199.
Emerson Network Power announced the CPCI7203 embedded single board computer. The Emerson Network Power CPCI7203 CompactPCI blade is based on Intel Core i7 processor. The module supports the new CompactPCI PlusIO specification (PICMG 2.30), which supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. The CPCI7203 PICMG 2.30 3U processor board is ideal for industrial, medical and military/aerospace applications, such as railway control, semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, image processing, vehicle communications and on-board flight information systems.

Kontron announced the VX6060 VPX computing blade for parallel data and signal processing applications. The Kontron VX6060 blade features two independently implemented Intel Core i7 processing nodes linked to a Ethernet and PCIe infrastructure. The VX6060 is ideal for intensive parallel computing workloads where a cluster of Kontron VX6060s can be used in full mesh VPX or switched OpenVPX environments. The 6U VPX board comes with EFI BIOS and supports Linux and VxWorks 6.
Concurrent Technologies announced the PP 712/08x family of 6U CompactPCI boards. The boards support supported the 2.53GHz Intel Core i7-610E, 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-620LE, and the 1.06GHz Intel Core i7-620UE. The PP 712/08x can support extended temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The modules are ideal for CPU intensive processing applications within the telecommunications, defense, and homeland security market sectors. The PP 712/08x boards support Linux, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP, Solaris, VxWorks, and QNX.
Adax introduced the HDC3 SS7 signaling controller for the PCIe ExpressModule (PCIe EM) format. The Adax HDC3-EM enables the HDC3 SS7 signaling board to be used in systems using the new PCIe EM architecture, such as the Sun Blade 6000 servers. The HDC3-EM is designed to meet the PCISIG PCI Express ExpressModule Specification Revision 1.0. The Adax HDC3 family is also available in PMC, AMC, PCI/X and PCIe (full height and low-profile) board formats, all of which share a common software driver and have a consistent API for application portability.
