Kontron announced their COMe-cTH6 COM Express Computer-on-Module. The COMe-cTH6 features the AMD Embedded R-Series accelerated processing unit (APU), AMD A70M Fusion Controller Hub, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, seven PCI Express x1 lanes, PEG x8 interface, four SATA 3 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and four USB 2.0 ports. The Kontron COM Express compact Computer-on-Modules COMe-cTH6 supports Windows, Linux, and VxWorks.
Kontron announced their ETX-OH T16R Computer-on-Module. The ETX-OH T16R features the new AMD Embedded G-Series APU T16R, up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, Fast Ethernet, USB 2.0, optional micro-USB port on-board and HD Audio. The board supports Windows 7 (32- and 64 bit), Windows XP, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Linux and VxWorks. The ETX 3.0-compliant Kontron ETX-OH T16R is available now. It is ideal for automation, infotainment, kiosk and medical applications.
Axiomtek introduced their CEM100 single board computer. The COM Express Type 2 module features either a single core AMD G-Series APU T40R ( 1.0GHz) or a dual core T56N (1.65 GHz). The CEM100 includes the A55E FCH chipset, two DDR3 1066 MHz SO-DIMM slots (up to 8 GB of system memory), four SATA ports (RAID 0, 1, 10, 5), and an integrated Radeon HD 6250/6320 graphics controller. The Axiomtek CEM100 SBC is available now. The low-power board is ideal for retail, medical, gaming, and digital signage applications.
Kontron introduced their KTA70M/mITX embedded Mini-ITX motherboard. The new mainboard is based on the new AMD Embedded R-Series Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) and AMD A70M controller hub. The KTA70M/mITX features up to 16 GB RAM, Gen 2.0 PCI Express x8 PEG port, Gen 2.0 PCI Express x4 slot, four USB 3.0, ten USB 2.0, and two GbE-LAN. The Kontron embedded board is ideal for medical, industrial automation, gaming and digital signage applications. The Kontron embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KTA70/mITX is sampling now. Series production will start in the fourth quarter of this year.
AMD announced the AMD Embedded G-T16R Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). The AMD G-T16R APU enables small form factor and fanless designs. It has a power consumption of only 2.3 watts on average or 4.5 watts thermal design power (TDP). The AMD Embedded G-T16R is targeted at very low power, small form factor and cost-sensitive embedded designs that require a combination of x86 compatibility and graphics. It is ideal for point-of-sale order entry stations and tablets, medical bedside terminals and solar-powered traffic control devices.
Kontron introduced the COMe-cOH2 COM Express compact Computer-on-Modules, which are based on the COM Express type 2 pin-out. The COMe-cOH2 modules are based on the energy efficient AMD Embedded G-Series accelerated processing units (APUs). There are two Kontron COMe-cOH2 variants: COMe-cOH2 T44R and COMe-cOH2 T56N. The COMe-cOH2 T44R features the 1.2 GHz AMD T44R single-core APU, 512 kb cache and AMD Radeon HD6250 GPU. The COMe-cOH2 T56N features the 1.65 GHz dual-core variant AMD T56N APU, AMD Radeon HD6310 graphics core and 2 x 512 kb cache. Both modules support up to 8 GByte of DDR3 RAM via two memory sockets.

The Kontron microETXexpress-OH is ideal for gaming, kiosk POS/POI systems, large display panels, multimedia walls, professional AV equipment, mobile devices, test and measurement systems, mobile 3D ultrasound scanners and imaging systems.
