Taiwan Commate Computer Inc. (COMMELL) introduced their LP-180 Pico-ITX motherboard. The industrial-grade LP-180 features the AMD dual-core 1.65GHz 18W TDP T56N APU, AMD A55E Fusion Controller Hub, AMD Radeon HD 6320, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, two RS232, SATAII interface on-board, Intel 82583 Giga LAN, four USB2.0 ports, HD audio, and PCIE mini card socket. The COMMELL LP-180 is ideal for limited space control systems, such as digital signage, thin client, information kiosk, point-of-sale, casino gaming and industrial control systems.
Axiomtek introduced the NANO101 embedded SBC. The NANO101 single board computer is powered by either a single core AMD G-Series APU T40R or the dual core T40E. The Nano-ITX motherboard features A50M FCH chipset, up to 4 GB DDR3 1066 memory, integrated Radeon HD 6250 graphics controller, six USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports (one is RS-232 and the other is RS-232/422/485 selectable), dual Gigabyte LANs, SATA-600 port, mainstream CFast socket, PCI Express Mini card expansion, and HD audio. The Axiomtek NANO101 board will be available in mid-March 2012.
MSC Vertriebs introduced the Q7-A50M Qseven module. The new Computer-On-Module is based on the AMD Embedded G-Series of Accelerated Processing Units (APUs). The MSC Q7-A50M features four PCI Express x1 lanes, two high-speed SATA-II interfaces, eight USB 2.0 host ports, LPC, High-Definition Audio (HDA), one GBit Ethernet interface, and optional SATA-connected Flash Disk (up to 32GB). AMD rolled out their Opteron 6200 and 4200 Series Embedded processors last week. The new AMD Opteron 6200 Series Embedded processor is the world’s first 16-core x86 processor. The AMD Opteron 4200 Series Embedded processor is the world’s lowest power server processor (fewer than 5 watts per core). The new AMD embedded server processors are ideal for high-end embedded systems. Select models are planned to be available for embedded market’s longevity need of seven years.
Blue Chip Technology introduced their NV1 single board computer. The Blue Chip embedded system is based on the AMD’s Athlon and Dual Core Turion Neo processors. The conga-QAF features the AMD Embedded G-Series processor, AMD Hudson E1 Fusion controller hub, up to 4 GB of low power onboard DDR3 memory, integrated graphics core with the Universal Video Decoder 3.0, DisplayPort and HDMI graphics interfaces. The conga-QAF Qseven module is available now. Prices start at under $200. The conga-QAF board is ideal for control of mobile applications in automation, medical technology, digital signage, POI/POS, and transportation.
