CommAgility introduced the AMC-4C6678 Advanced Mezzanine Card. The AMC-4C6678 module features four of the latest TMS320C6678 fixed- and floating-point octal core DSPs from Texas Instruments (TI) running at 1.25 GHz, giving a total performance of 640 GFLOPS and 1280 GMACS. The AMC-4C6678 is available now. It is ideal for high performance DSP applications like image sensor processing, telecoms and stepper.
Kontron announced their AM4120 single-width AdvancedMC processor module. The AM4120 features the Freescale QorIQ P2020 Dual Core processor, up to 4GB RAM with ECC, redundant universal bootloader U-Boot, persistent memory, up to three GbE channels, and two RJ45 interfaces. The Kontron AM4120 module will be available in sample quantities this month. It is ideal for industrial automation, medical, networking, telecom, military transportation and avionics.
The Kontron OM6060 MicroTCA platform is a compact and modular development platform. It is ideal for prototypes in test equipment, packet processing and industrial applications. The OM6060 supports multiple CPUs with I/O-boards over PCIExpress (PCIe) without need of an extra PCIe fabric switch. PCIe fabric clocks are generated on the OM6060 backplane. The Kontron OM6060 is configured for the design, evaluation, and test of small, compact, and highly integrated multiprocessor systems.
The CommAgility AMC-2C87W3 digital baseband module features L1 PHY (physical layer), L2 RLC/MAC (Radio Link Control/Media Access Control), S1/X2 interface, and security processing for LTE (Long Term Evolution) or WiMAX. The AMC-2C87W3 integrates the PHY, RLC/MAC, transport (including all backhaul and air interface security) and antenna connectivity requirements of eNodeB into a compact single width solution. It provides end-to-end data handling from raw radio IQ data through to backhaul IP packets. The Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) will be available in March 2010.
Concurrent Technologies introduced the AM 210/x0x Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC). The AM 210/x0x is a single width, mid-height or full-height, processor module for AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, Scope Alliance and proprietary platforms. Commercial temperature (0°C to +55°C) and extended temperature (-25°C to +70°C) variants are now available with either the mid-height or full-height front panel type. The AM 210/x0x module supports Linux, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, VxWorks, and QNX.
