Kontron announced the KISS 4U EATX. The new Kontron Industrial Silent Server is powered by two new 8-core Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors (each with up to 2.5 GHz turbo clock frequency). The Kontron KISS 4U EATX is CE certified and UL qualified. It supports Linux and Windows operating systems. The Kontron Industrial Silent Server KISS 4U EATX is available in APAC and EMEA now. It is ideal for industrial imaging, medical technology, cloud computing, storage and simulation applications.
The KISS 4U PCI761 is the latest member of the Kontron Industrial Silent Server family. The KISS 4U PCI761 features the 64-bit Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM, 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 12x USB 2.0 (2x front, 4x back, 6x pin header), 2x COM (1x RS232/422/485, 1x RS232), video (DVI-D, VGA) and audio ports (mic-in, line-in, line-out), and PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard. The Kontron KISS 4U PCI761 is available now in EMEA. It will be available in America and APAC starting this September.
DuroPC introduced the RAC258 4U Rackmount Industrial Computer. The DuroPC RAC258 features a PICMG 1.3 backplane (four PCI slots, seven PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16 slot), 320 HDD, 1GB RAM, and Windows 7 Professional (other options available). All seven PCIex1 slots can operate simultaneously. The DuroPC RAC258 4U Rackmount Industrial Computer is based on Intel i7 processor. It is also available with the Intel i3 or i5 processors.
