Raima has released RDM Embedded 12.0, which will offer support for the most updated versions of Green Hills INTEGRITY 11.0, Linux ARM, Windows CE, Wind River’s VxWorks 6.9, and QNX Neutrino 6.5 Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOSs).
RDM Embedded 12 is a database management system that offers high performance and stability for both 32-bit and 64-bit in-memory RTOSs. There is also support for symmetric multiprocessing, which allows developers full advantage of the latest multiprocessor hardware.
Wayne Warren, Raima CTO, says: “These platforms are utilized by key industry leaders in areas such as the automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial automation, industrial safety, medical, secure mobile, security, telecom, and networking markets. Now with RDM Embedded 12, real-time system developers in these sectors can take full advantage of features such as support for multi-core processors, in-memory limitation, encryption, shared memory and a host of other high performance features.”
With support for these updated versions of RTOSs, users will be able to develop solutions for the software and hardware platforms they need, depending on the requirements of their individual markets.
RDM Embedded 12 also offers features that optimize standalone operation on resource-limited systems, as well as encryption of database files.
