Vecow Announces Bay Trail Box PC

Vecow announces ABP-2000 Bay Trail Box PC.

Vecow introduces its ABP-2000 1.91 GHz Intel Quad Core Atom E3800 fanless advanced box PC series that can withstand harsh environmental conditions. Its advanced graphics capabilities also make it suitable for display and graphics-intensive Internet of Things, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), and M2M applications.

ABP-2000 features:

  • -25 °C to +70 °C
  • DDR3L single channel 8 GB RAM
  • 2x HDMI
  • 2x RS-232, 2x RS-232/422/485
  • 2x isolated RS-232/422/485
  • 2x GbE LAN
  • 2.5” SATA 3 Gbps SSD/HDD tray
  • 3x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 2x mini PCI Express

The Intel Atom E3800 processor (formerly code-named Bay Trail) gives the ABP-2000 its graphical punch and industrial-grade temperature range. Intel Gen 7 graphics up to 792 MHz enhance graphics capabilities, and a Tjunction range of -40 °C to +110 °C allow it to operate at wide industrial temperature ranges. The E3800 family also offers security and reliability features for always-on systems. The box PC’s fanless design, EN50155 standard compliance, and cable-less arrangement also suit it for industrial applications.

The ABP-2000 also lends itself to connected systems. Dual HDMI supports consumer electronics control to carry IR/remote/control commands between interconnected HDMI devices. The two GbE ports have Intel WG82574L GbE controllers, and the mini PCIe sockets can be used for 3G/4G, GPS/GPRS, and Wi-Fi network connections.
