Extreme Engineering Solutions Debuts XPedite5600 PrPMC/XMC Module

Extreme Engineering Solutions introduced their XPedite5600 PrPMC/XMC module. The XPedite5600 features the Freescale P2040 or P2041 processor, up to 8 GB of DDR3-1333 ECC SDRAM, and either a x4 PCI Express Gen2 XMC interface or 32-bit PCI PMC interface. The air-cooled X-ES XPedite5600 board is available now. It is ideal for industrial and communications applications that require a high-performance PowerPC processor on an industry standard mezzanine module.

X-ES XPedite5600 Module Features
- Freescale P2040 or P2041 processor with four PowerPC e500mc cores at up to 1.5 GHz
- Air-cooled PrPMC/XMC form factor
- Up to 8 GB of DDR3-1333 ECC SDRAM (up to 1333 MT/s)
- Up to 256 MB of NOR flash (with redundancy)
- Up to 16 GB of NAND flash
- x4 PCI Express Gen2 XMC interface or 32-bit PCI PMC interface
- One front panel and three rear I/O Gigabit Ethernet ports
