VIA QuadCore Processor

VIA Technologies introduced the QuadCore processor. The VIA QuadCore features four Isaiah cores on two dies, Adaptive Overclocking, 4MB L2 cache, 1333MHz V4 Bus, VT virtualization, multi-threaded performance, and TDP (Thermal Design Power) of only 27.5 watts. Volume shipment of the multi-core processor will begin in the third quarter. The 1.2+ GHz VIA QuadCore processor is currently the lowest power quad core processor on the market.
