X-ES XPand5200 Convection Cooled Sub-1/2 ATR Box

Extreme Engineering Solutions introduced the XPand5200 convection-cooled sub-½ ATR box. The X-ES XPand5200 offers both convection-cooling and conduction-cooling to conduction-cooled payload cards. The ATR box supports 3U CompactPCI and 3U VPX backplanes. The XPand5200 supports up to four 3U VPX or cPCI modules. It meets MIL-STD-810 standards, and is ideal for the harshest environments.

  • MIL-STD-461 E/F EMI filtering
  • Boards are inserted in the back of the chassis in a vertical orientation

  • MIL-STD-704 28V DC input voltage support (default)
  • Up to 100 ms internal hold-up time at 70 W (optional)

  • Maintains 85°C board rail temperatures with up to 105 W total chassis power dissipation
