Texas Instruments TAS5727 25-watt Digital Audio Power Amplifier

Texas Instruments launched the TAS5727 25-watt digital audio power amplifier for stereo bridge-tied speakers. The TI TAS5727 features two-band dynamic range compression, audio processing in two different frequency bands, 32% lower RDS(on) and 20% lower total case temperature. The TAS5727 IC is available now in a surface mount 48-pin HTQFP package. The chip is priced at $2.50 each (quantities of 1,000).
