Microchip MCP4706, MCP4716 and MCP4726 Digital-to-Analog Converters

Microchip Technology introduced the MCP4706/16/26 (MCP47X6) Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) devices. The non-volatile MCP47X6 DACs feature buffered 8-,10- and 12-bit voltage output options and integrated EEPROM. The MCP4706, MCP4716 and MCP4726 DAC chips are available in 6-pin SOT-23 and 2 mm x 2 mm DFN packages. Prices ranging from $0.51 to $0.69 each (in 10,000-unit quantities). They are ideal for wireless microphones, mp3-player accessories, motor control, flow measurement, temperature control and light control applications.
