GE Intelligent Platforms PowerXtreme PPC9B VMEbus Single Board Computer

GE Intelligent Platforms introduced the PowerXtreme PPC9B rugged 6U VMEbus single board computer. The PPC9B SBC is based on the Freescale’s QorIQ P2020 dual core processor and with 2 GBytes of DDR3 ECC memory. The PPC9B is ideal for sensor fusion and processing, tracking and targeting, weapon guidance and electronic support subsystems. The single board computer is available in five rugged air- and conduction-cooled build levels. It is fully supported by Deployed Test Software (BIT and BCS). The PowerXtreme PPC9B SBC supports VxWorks, LynxOS and Linux.
