Analog Devices ADXRS450 iMEMS Gyroscope

Analog Devices announced the ADXRS450 iMEMS gyroscope with digital output for angular rate (rotational) sensing in harsh environments. The device features a differential quad-sensor design that enables it to operate accurately under intense shock and vibration conditions. The ADXRS450 iMEMS gyroscope is sampling now with volume production scheduled for December 2010. The ADXRS450 comes in a small 16-lead plastic SOIC package and an SMT-compatible ceramic vertical-mount package. The ADXRS450 is priced at $43.16 per unit (SOIC) and $57.07 per unit (SMT) in 1,000-unit quantities.
