IEI Technology introduced the PICOe-D510 half-size CPU card. The PICOe-PV-D510 features the 1.66 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor D510, 1 MB L2 cache, and 512 MB of on-board memory. The IEI PICOe-PV-D510 will be available at the end of this month. It is ideal for digital signage, transportation networking, multimedia devices, and printing machine applications.
The IEI PICOe-PV-D510 is a CPU card with high performance and low power consumption. Its 45nm dual-core Intel Atom processor D510 with 1 MB L2 cache ensures high data throughputs. The PICOe-PV-D510 supports dual display through a single-channel 18-bit LVDS interface (up to 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution) and an analog CRT port. The analog CRT port supports resolutions up to 2048×1536 and supports hot plugging. The Intel GMA 3150 graphics engine with GFX core (400 MHz) is integrated in the Intel ICH8M Southbridge and enhances graphics performance.
The IEI PICOe-PV-D510 features four PCI Express x1, one PCI Express x4, and four PCI interfaces. The built-in 512 MB 667 MHz DDR2 memory and the optional 2 GB (max) DDR2 SO-DIMM improve the data delivery with less data lost and fewer delays.
The PICOe-PV-D510 has a variety of I/O and storage interfaces including two RS-232 serial ports, two PCIe GbE ports, three SATA II ports, seven USB 2.0 ports, one CompactFlash Type I/II slot and one audio interface that supports 7.1 channel HD audio via the IEI AC-KIT883HD audio kit.
The PICOe-D510 is a space saving motherboard with advanced graphics capabilities.
