Freescale Semiconductor unviled the QorIQ P1022 dual-core processor for embedded applications. The QorIQ P1022 offers advanced power management capabilities for energy-efficient designs. The low-power, high-performance P1022 processor enables embedded systems designers to satisfy green-energy mandates while achieving low overall system cost. The processor is ideal for applications where performance and energy efficiency are essential, including printing and imaging products, video surveillance technology, storage equipment, and industrial automation and control applications. QorIQ P1022 processor samples are expected to be available in early 2010. Suggested resale pricing is $42.41 (USD) in 10K quantities.
