BCM introduced the RX45Q Intel Q45 based Micro ATX motherboard. The RX45Q features the Intel LGA 775 Socket, Intel Q45 Express Chipset, Intel vPro technology, and support for Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium Duo-core and Celeron processors with the Front Side Bus speed from 800, 1066 up to 1333 MHz. The vPro technology is ideal for industrial applications such as gaming and slot machines, ATM terminal, industrial automation, industrial control, and kiosk. The RX45Q also supports Intel Active Management Technology (iAMT) 5.0 which offers similar functions as the vPro technology except the iAMT is not require to be operated in the Core 2 series processors environment.

The RX45Q featuers dual display function via two DVI connectors built-in on a Micro ATX motherboard. The RX45Q provides dual display capabilities through onboard DVI + DVI connectors with the built-in Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 (Intel GMA 4500) graphics engine. The Intel GMA 4500 delivers high definition video and 3D graphics performance and also supports Microsoft DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL 2.0, enabling top levels of Windows Vista operation systems especially for business solutions.
The onboard expansions on the RX45Q includes one PCI Express x16, one PCI Express x4, and one PCI Express x1. The onboard expansion enables the system to support even more varieties of the add-on cards to meet complicate requirements for advanced applications. This feature is rarely seen among the other industrial Micro ATX motherboards.
