STMicroelectronics LIS302DLH Three Axis Digital MEMS Accelerometer
The LIS302DLH, from STMicroelectronics, is a high-performance high-stability 16-bit MEMS accelerometer. It is only 0.75mm high and shares the 3 x 5mm footprint of other devices in ST’s Piccolo MEMS family for use in ultra-space-saving product designs. According to STMicroelectronics, the LIS302DLH is the world’s thinnest three-axis digital MEMS accelerometer. ST’s LIS302DLH linear accelerometer is ideal for motion sensing, orientation awareness, free-fall detection, and vibration monitoring. Samples are available immediately, and mass production is scheduled for early Q3 2009 at $1.35 for orders over 10,000 pieces.
