The DS2 AITANA++ is a third-generation 200Mbps Powerline Communication (PLC) chipset. AITANA++ enables equipment vendors to design compact, secure, and environmentally friendly powerline communications products available. The reduced BOM (Bill of Materials) costs reduces costs for device manufacturers. While in use, AITANA++ consumes 30% less power than previous products and in stand-by mode, reduces its consumption by 70%. This development not only reduces energy costs, it also simplifies the thermal design for embedded applications. The AITANA++ is ideal for set top boxes, home gateways, remote speaker systems, IP cameras, or personal computers.
